Great series
Great book and a great series to help teach and reinforce values in your kiddo. I bought this for my son (6) with ADHD/ODD and it has helped us open the conversation. I always remind him what would diggers do has learned and he thinks about his next moves.

Helpful for teaching a 3 year old to connect with his feelings
We had hit an extreme with our 3 yo's behavior. We follow conscious discipline/positive parenting, but his temper and aggression levels were beyond acceptable. In combination with doubling down on positive parenting prevention tactics (filling up his "power" and "belonging" buckets) these books have been wonderful. He loves the characters, it's nice that the books rhyme, and he can relate to the books. He'll volunteer comparisons of his actions to those of Diggery. Impulse control is still an issue, but his tantrums are significantly shorter, there has been far less biting and hair pulling, and he's getting better at realizing what feelings he's having. We have the whole series, and I really love it.

Rhyming text
Bought for a Moderately Intellectually Deficit class of middle school students. A simple way to demonstrate why rules are important. Like the downloadable color page.

Good book for kids
This book is enjoyed by 6 yr old boy and reminds him that he also needs to follow the rules. It’s a little pricey but worth it. Will purchase more of these books.

Great for classroom
My students love these books. I plan on getting several more befofore the new school year. Easy read, cute rhyming and beautiful pictures. Easy for my higher level 1st graders to read or follow the story simply by pictures. I love to read these over several days, can use as writing prompts and several social citizen lessons. K-3 would be the age range I would say the pictures and writing will capture, coloring pages are fun. Love them, can't wait to order more.

Counter effect
It shows the bad behaviour at the beginning which was counterintuitive for my daughter. She was like but the dragon did not obey the orders at the beginning

Recommended for parents and caregivers of 5-9 year olds.
As a Psychology graduate, I found this book to assist children in gaining control over their temper. Understanding that we all get upset, children and grownups, but we all learn how to better handle when things do not go our way. It’s an educational story for children.
