The 4K resolution delivers incredibly sharp video quality, and the AI-powered face tracking ensures I stay in the frame even if I move around. Another big plus is the built-in microphone, which means I don’t have to connect an external mic.Overall, this camera has significantly improved my video calls and online meetings. Probably the best webcam on earth! Well in my opinion of course, lol! Seriously though, this webcam blows the one built in to my laptop out of the water! The 4K video is really nice on this thing! I love that it comes with a long usbc cable so it's easier to mount where ever I need it(also has a usbc to usb a adapter), The fact that it can track my motion and follow me around the room is amazing, and you really don't need an additional mic for great sound cause the built in AI noise canceling works great!! From its superior image quality to its intuitive features, this camera has definitely exceeded my expectations!Superior Image Quality:The image clarity is awesome! Not DSLR level, but close to it. The Link 2 captures vibrant colors and sharp details. The ability to achieve a professional look with the bokeh effect adds that "extra touch". This feature is a great for both content creators and professionals!MacOS IntegrationSetting up the camera on my Mac was a breeze. For anyone using macOS version 15.0, just follow these steps to install the Virtual Camera: Open "System Settings," type "Extensions" in the search bar, and scroll down to find "Camera Extensions." Click the icon next to "Camera Extensions" to enable permissions for the Insta360 Link Controller. Restart. Done. Once that’s done, all features work seamlessly.Features:The smart features of the Link 2 are impressive. Low light performance is great (again, not DSLR level great, but this is a 200$ webcam with a smaller sensor) From automatic framing to gesture controls, everything works flawlessly. PROS- This camera is way better (IMO) than various Logitech ones I've tried (including the BRIO).- 4k resolution is incredibly sharp- I love the ability to save "views" so you can quickly switch angles, focus targets, etc.- Very premium design/feel.- Incredibly powerful, yet user-friendly application. Wayyyyyy nicer than Logitech's.CONS- 4k only appears to support 4k @ 30fps, rather than 4k @ 60fps (which they advertise)- AI tracking is a nice gimmick, but your viewers don't want to see your camera move. Turn it off.- It lacks a physical screen cover switch, like the non-gimbal version has.- I've had some glitchy moments with it, like where my entire feed was turned sideways for a bit (despite the camera not even having a vertical/portrait mode).OVERALLI'd recommend this without hesitation. I think the hiccups will be solved via software updates over time, but the device itself seems great. It's not as good as a dedicated DSLR setup with fast glass, but it's a great runner-up, in a MUCH more compact form factor.
