Neat and fun little fountain

I bought this as my kids love messing about with water - whether at the kitchen sink or in the basement of London's science museum - and the little one was fascinated (see video).It's a neat little piece with a variety of heads and given the recent [boiling hot] weather here in London, it's worked rather well. we popped it in a roasting tin for the meantime, popped it on the ground and once the sunlight hit - away it went.V pleasing...

Stress free economic water feature
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Great little item all set up ready to go just pick which nozzle you want to use and pop it in the water and off it goes. The stronger the sunlight the higher the spray. When out of sun it stops but we had already read reviews prior to purchasing and had expected this. For the price and no nonsense function without the hassle of cables and electric we still get enough of a water flow to bring enjoyment from it.

tested for about a week... no clouds in sky, brightest of sunlight, works intermittent... at best a gurgle...

Great little fountain!!
It looked great and it worked great until the sun stopped shining. I am hoping this is not the end of the UK summer and I get to see my little solar fountain work again. Not sure about the life of the fountain as it worked for about two weeks until the sun went away but I hope I get to see it working for at least another summer.

Great, relaxing and fun addition to the garden. Works well
What a fun and simple idea to add to the garden! Even in the moderate Spring sunlight, we’ve had a good result. It’s created very relaxing watery sounds and a lovely flow of water. Our dogs are most intrigued.

Pump Failure
ordered the solar birdbath which we were pleased with at first but alas it failed after three weeks. Made contact with seller and they asked for the order number which I sent and they talked about warranty. Have not heard anything since. Disappointing

Solar water fountain for bird bath.
After assembling the item from the box, I installed it in a bird bath. The sun was shining on the item and the fountain worked immediately. It requies the sun to fall directly on the item and will not work lout of direct sun shine.

Bought this to prevent a pond going stagnant
I've got two of these in a pond in our garden in France. Before we floated them we had a lot of mosquitoes because they like still water, now they've completely disappeared. Quite impressed with the height of the fountain of water that this little gadget produces, however to obtain this you need to have strong sunshine as any shadow stops the pump. Works much better than the other type I bought which has a lead and separate solar panel.
