For $35 this is a really nice helmet, to be honest I was not expecting this level of quality. If you are looking for a well built, simple, comfortable helmet for a resonable price you need to consider this one. The fit is snug, a little squeeze over the ears, but once on it feels really nice. I know its a baseball helmet, however this will be used in an emergency storm shelter as head protection

The matte black is great, my son loves this helmet. And when he took a baseball to the head he didn’t even flinch, which is the most important aspect to think about. Fits snug but not tight. With added purchased chin strap it’s perfect.
