I bought this as a Christmas gift for our 9 year old granddaughter. The box has full, easy to follow instructions and everything you need to make the balloon light kit. I did the first one with my granddaughter we had great fun together doing it ... she blew the balloon up with the supplied straw and I helped to tie the end, then she soaked the ball of string in a bowl with the glue and water mixture; then she had great fun wrapping the string around the balloon ... we carefully hanged the wet stringed balloon up overnight to dry and sure enough the next day the string had set solid. We punctured the balloon to let the air out and carefully pulled the deflated balloon out. My granddaughter threaded the tiny lights inside and decorated the tassle at the bottom. This is a really sweet balloon light when it's finished and the tiny multi-coloured lights are delightful! There are 3 different balloon lights to make in total and for the money I think it is extremely good value - happy to recommend to anyone wanting a lovely gift for a young girl who likes crafting and pretty things!

Great idea and looks as good as described. For Christmas but although I got them on half price they are truly magnificent.

This is lovely quality and my son loved the idea of it but he struggled with the gloves which made it very tricky! He is neurodivergent so textures can be a challenge if I do something like this again I will try and find more appropriate gloves as they do stick to the Yarn as you wrapping it! It took mine of in the end and it was much easier, but he would struggle to put his fingers in the glue. I'm hoping he will enjoy decorating them, but great quality and completely different to anything we had tried before! I will definitely considering buying again as a gift! We decorated them and they do look great! I did add a little extra glue while they were drying and they held there shape really well a fun idea maybe easier for slightly older children as it's a bit fiddly

Id say its an okay item. The Elmer glue is good but, a lot of supervision is needed and help from an adult more than the child able to get on with making the light themselves.

Great present - well received for an 8 year old

Got this for my grandaughter and it was great to make. They looked lovely but we didn't put enough on the star corners so that was a bit flat but that was our own fault. Would buy again and do the star different. If some of the feathers won't go into the bead just clip them sideways at the top. Great purchase and we really enjoyed it. Also extra feathers in the box.
