Occasionally, the lid doesn't stay securely in place, which can be a minor inconvenience when quickly tossing clothes into the hamper. However, this doesn't significantly impact the overall functionality of the hamper. In summary, this clothes hamper strikes a commendable balance between style, practicality, and price. Its lightweight design, attractive light wood, sturdy construction, and generous capacity make it a reliable choice for organizing laundry. Updated 10/8/2024 - we've used the hamper for a couple of months now. today I just found a substantial design flaw, but easily fixed. the bottom of the hamper is made from a rigid paper board. when you place wet or damp clothes in it the moisture soaks right through. consequently over time that bottom board begins to warp out of shape. if I'd not found this issue it would've ruined the hamper. the FIX, get a kitchen sized trash bag and place the bottom 'board' into it. then put back in place. since the cloth bag sits on top you'll never even see the trash bag, problem solved. FYI as for the rest of the hamper, no problems at all as the bottom section was the only area I had issue with. all said for the money I'd still buy this again if needed. __________________________________________ Original review,.the hamper came in several pieces but was very easy to put together. it is sturdier than i had expected. it looks very nice. it's also easy to use. the liner comes off and on with minimal effort. it holds nearly two full loads of laundry if full. related as to size it is about as tall as a 23 gallon trash can but nearly twice as wide. i had not a single issue or problem with this hamper and if needed i wouldn't hesitate to order another. for the price imho it can't be beat.

Easy to set up and use

Easy storage solution for clothes that are easy on the eyes. Just don't be too hard on it: it's still bamboo slats and can't handle too much weight.

Really attractive, I was actually surprised at how much I like the look of this. The liner feels unexpectedly sturdy (some sort of canvas), although I was expecting to be able to lift out my load with the liner, and this definitely didn't work since there isn't any way to brace the bottom to pull out a heavy load. However, the handles are sturdy, so this didn't end up being a problem for me -- simply carried it to the laundry. Holds about 2 overfull loads. I noticed that the lid on this bends somewhat when the cats are sitting on this, but hopefully it will withstand some occasionally cat perching.

This laundry hamper has a pleasing aesthetic and I like the compartments. it is used for adult everyday regular and work clothing. However, it pulls apart easily. Mine sits in the laundry room. This morning I noticed, the bottom not adjoined to the hamper, it seems it was glued perhaps and it separated. It is also somewhat flimsy. in just 4 months this hamper has been rendered useless. I would not recommend this. It is also not a hamper you could move about easily- mine is moved only for cleaning the space it sits in. I have not detected mold or a smell as others do, but I am so disappointed in the purchase. now I need to get a new laundry hamper. Disappointed!!!!

Not sturdy and i returned it because it had a little damage.

Looks good and very sturdy. Good size. Inner fabric bag is a little thing, I can see it tearing soon.
