Basco Armon 31.75 to 33.25 in. width, Semi-Frameless Pivot Shower Door, Clear Glass, Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish

This door we love. The oil bronze finish went well with our bathroom. This door is not a problem to install for most homeowners. But for someone who has never physically done something like this..it could be challenging. The manufacturer included everything needed. Except the silicone caulk of course. Mounting the side supports represents the worst part. These shower enclosures needed more than 3 holes to mounting them up. At least the hinge side that bears all the weight. I put in 6 and had to use wing type bolts to secure it. I didn't feel using the small plastic inserts was enough. Some smash when putting them in. This was my only complaint. I love the door. I would buy another if need one. Just use 6 bolts on the hinge side not the 3. When I installed the hinge side first, the top of the side rail started to pull away from the wall. Too much weight with the mounting screw too far down from the top. I put another mounting screw about an inch and a half down from the top to force the mounting rail to NOT pull away from the wall. ALL IS GOOD THEN.

We love this shower door. The size, the quality and durability is perfect. It was the perfect finishing touch for our shower. I love the size because it lets the light in and makes the shower look bigger. It did take some figuring out to get it installed but my husband and son quickly got it done. It is very sturdy and works beautifully.

The door arrived but parts were missing and the top rail was damaged. I was able to find a replacement for the missing set screw and file out the crushed part of the rail so that the pivot bracket would slide in. I had read the manual prior to purchase and it says nothing about having to use a hacksaw to shorten the bottom and top rails and the drip rail. Hopefully you can saw straight if you choose this shower. The bottom rail mates up to a stub rail and this leaves a small horizontal groove behind the drip rail through which a small but steady stream of water will pour. This needs to be blocked with some clear caulk or your shower curb may not hold back the water flow. They do mention about putting caulk on the drip rail to stop cleaners affecting the rubber but blocking this flow is important and should be emphasized in case you decide to skip that step. My opening was 34" and the specs state it can take up to a 34.25" opening. IMHO 34.25 would really be stretching it. 34" is already hanging in by its fingernails. Other than that the install was fairly straight forward and the door operates just fine and looks good enough.

Missing parts, all the hardware, unusable and now two more weeks to get a replacement. Very frustrating.
