TCL 501 BLACK (Renewed)

I bought this as a repkacement for a phone that I sadly lost. It was quite straightforward once I had downloaded a PDF manual, but would have appreciated a basic set up guide to be included. It came with a quality charger which can also charge Apple phones too which might prove useful if vistors come here with an iphone. It is a good quality phone, not one for gamers but good for my needs and the exceptional battery lasts all day even in constant use, the best phone in this regard in all my years of having a mobile. (My very first phone which was on Cellnet was a transportable and the size of two bricks back in 1986-7)The screen is big enough for my needs and an added bonus is unlike most phones the battery can be replaced by the user unlike most phones where the battery is sealed inside.

This item was very poor quality, looked good but from beginning had issues. It didn't even last 4 weeks after receiving it, it wouldn't even charge above 1%. Then the last time trying to charge the whole screen flashed ,after that couldn't do anything with it, nothing. Very dissatisfied, I understand it wasn't a great amount of money but you do expect a phone to last more than 4 weeks and I certainly can't afford to buy a new reconditioned phone every month.

Phone is excellent considering the courier threw it over the garden fence and not left it in appropriate safe place and said handed to resident which is a lie

Nice phone for a spare but not for a daily driver as the camera and video is terrible ..but at just over £40 for a smart phone is cheap.

absolute piece of garbage, first of all came with the wrong size charger now wont charge up at all after 3 months of use. Save your money and buy a semi decent phone ! AVOID
