These strips are a quick and easy way to check your Ketones when you start the Ketogenic diet, or any low carb diet. They're super easy to use, and results are pretty easy to understand. If you've ever checked the pH levels in a pool, this is the exact same sort of deal. Darker the strip the more ketones (better). I won't go into too much Keto detail, there's plenty elsewhere. Just be aware that you may not show ketones in your urine for a few days up to a week after starting Keto and that your levels may vary on activity. I.E. if you test when your body is flushing water (after drinking alcohol) it may read lower, or if you just fasted or used exogeneous ketone supplements may read higher. After your body is fully in ketosis (couple weeks or more) your urine may have less ketones than your blood (actual levels) because your body is using them. This particular product is also a great buy in terms of price. Blood monitors will run you about $60 for a test kit with equipment for 10 tests, and more strips will run you $1 a test AT A MINIMUM. Another alternative is a special breathalyzer which is also going to cost you and not provide much more accurate readings. Simply put, this is the BEST product on the market for the money, hands down.

Works great. It took about 3 minutes to reveal accurate results, after 30 minutes the color on stick was darker than what was revealed at 3 minutes. Although it says it takes 7 seconds, I had a hard time trying to determine which reading to use since the colors did not remain the same after 3 minutes. Overall, I enjoy using the sticks because they do assist with monitoring your health.

First order the temp sensor must have been damaged. After one use it errored out when starting up. Replacement seems to be doing pretty good, no complaints on the new one so far.

This monitor is super easy to use and way more affordable than any other products like it. I like how small and compact the carrying case is, so it’s very easy for travel. The kit is a good starter pack and the refill strips are a very good price as well! Definitely will only be using this brand for my blood ketone testing.

I received the product yesterday. First let me say I was really looking forward to using this device. I even already ordered 30 more Ketone Blood Test Strips so I would not run out. Set up was real easy, I recommend watching the video on the Kiss my Keto sight, it was very helpful. I had watched the video before ordering so I was already to do it. Packaging was a little odd. The box was not sealed with the unit and strips in it, so I was real surprised the test strip tube was not sealed. I thought maybe it was a returned unit. The first test strip i put in said it was used, I got nervous and put a new one in. I got a reading of 0.6 which I knew was low since my labs just said +1. I waited two hours and tested again and got another error code of used strip, put a new one in and got a reading of 0.4. I was really concerned now and checking everything I was eating. But I have been losing 4 pounds per week for the past two months so how can this be? Got up this morning, scale said I was down another 1/2 pound from yesterday. Went to test my blood and again I got an error code of used test strip, put in another and got a reading of 0.4 and a low battery signal I did not notice lastnight. All told I have gone through 6 test strips in less than 24 hours. Not feeling confident in the accuracy of the unit and the test strips seem to be faulty. Like I said I was really looking forward to using this device, I have been doing Keto off and on for two years now and doing great on it, but I wanted something that I could actually see what my numbers were so I could adjust by adding or subtracting foods from my "can eat" list. I also wanted to show my friends how by knowing your numbers will encourage a person to keep going and take charge of what they eat by knowing how their particular body responds to what types of food. I hate to say don't purchase this item, what if it was just a fluke that mine is a lemon, or was it exposed to moisture in transit to my home. Or maybe it was a returne or refurbished unit. I will reach out to the company on Monday and see what they suggest I do. I will update my review at that time.

I decided to try these strips since they are cheaper than the ones I had been using. You get what you pay for. They work as intended but the color code on the bottle does not in the slightest match the colors produced on the strips. Luckily the colors are the same, on the strip, as my usual ones so I can use an old bottle to read them. I transferred them to a bottle from my regular strips. The colors also aren't as distinct as my usual ones. If you have never used test strips before I think you would find these not helpful. If you're new to Keto I'd use a different brand. i have been using "One Earth Health" brand.

After reading all of the reviews, I noticed a pattern. The poor reviews were mostly based on mis-use of the product. So I decided to purchase. I am absolutely satisfied with these test strips. They are easy to use and highly accurate. Make sure to always close the lid tightly to insure that the strips do not oxidize and turn gray. The strip did in fact change color within 15 seconds. They do continue to darken up to a minute, so I consider the test to be valid after the prescribed time of 15 seconds. My only slight issue is that the color of the strip may not exactly match the chart. For me it is easy to see where it fits on the chart, though. I will be purchasing these again.

These strips are great. Following a keto diet and testing on a daily basis to see if I am in ketosis is super motivating to keep me on track. I have no issues with these strips, they work for me!

These work great! I know some others have had issues, but so far mine are holding out. I keep them in my half bath so there is no humidity from the shower, which I believe helps their longevity. I took a three-day break from keto and I was able to watch as my ketones slowly depleted and once I went back on it after the break, I saw them slowly return, so the strips seem to be accurate. Their price per strip is really good, too. I plan to re-order these eventually.

These strips do change colour if you are in ketosis. But the fun is that so far, it never turns a colour that is actually on the chart. So this is basically both a medical test and a kind of puzzle. The amount of change is dependant on the degree to which you are in ketosis, but its really hard to match it to any of the colours on the tube the strips come in. Ketostix, which are a little more expensive, around 7$ for 50 at drug stores, give an exact match or occasionally between samples and you can tell exactly which two they are between. Not saying don't buy these. They do indicate ketosis. But the chart is there more for comic relief than accuracy.

These test-strips work well and give quick results. Strip colour can be easily compared to the colour chart on the bottle. Very pleased with product. Edit: don’t bother ordering such a big bottle. You probably won’t need to test very often. Also when I decided to test several months after buying, the test strips no longer change colour.

I love these strips. I have found they worked awesome for a month and then they no longer were accurate even though I was in ketosis. I closed the lid tightly immediately after taking each strip out. I ordered a new bottle and then they worked. I just ordered my 3rd bottle. Seems 1/2 the bottle goes to waste after 3 or 4 weeks even though I am very careful about closing the lid carefully and quickly to avoid moisture getting in. So I am delighted they work but not happy about the waste.
