I never knew that staple technology had been improved. I was stuck in the days where if it was a thick wedge of paper that needed to be fastened, I would simply have to bash the stapler as hard as humanly possible.Those days are now over!This is the first "up-to-date" stapler I have used and I must say, I am impressed hugely.It is quite weighty but fits in an adult mans hand very well in and normal "on the fly" stapling position one would normally hold such a device in.It does have a limited throat space of 4.5cm and you will need to give it about 2.5cm from the front edge before reaching the staple action zone, though it will easily cope with corners and edges.It will not open up to allow pinning to boards or tacking.In use it is perfectly functional.Sitting upon a desk or held in the hand, it takes little more effort to use as it would to close most doors. Press anywhere on the top surface until slight resistance is felt, then press just a little harder and cluunk the whole mechanism drops into action. It fires the staple through up to 30 normal 80gsm pages with pure easy, and requires no extra effort as if attaching just 2 or 3.It works in conjunction with omnipress 30 Rapid brand staples which are 6mm in height and have sharpened ends to ease their travel though stapling jobs.The patented "Super Flat Clinch" is provided by two little metal arms that live in the bottom bed of the stapler. They move independently of the main mechanism and are provided to close the ends of the staple extremely closely, thus limiting bulkiness of stapled work from having one higher corner when stacked into blocks or boxed. These clinch arms will not be operated unless a full press is made, thanks to a small release button that comes into contact with the top part right at the end of the staplers stroke.It is sold as a full strip capable device and will take the recommended "Rapid omnipress 30" a full strip at a time (available in packs of 5000). Simply pull the top cover up and backwards to reveal the loading tray, drop in a full strip, then close it back down. It has a lovely sound as it closes, like a weapon being readied to be fired.Expensive? Yes, perhaps but the statement is true that you get what you pay for. Threw away the old staples immediately after using this one. Amazingly easy to press even with over 25 sheets of 100grm paper. Good buy!

Fantastic stapler, performs as advertised.

I like this stapler. It feels substantial but is not too heavy to hold in one hand and easy to staple lots of pages together. I've got it for home use so the flat staple is not so relevant for me, but I can see how it would be very useful when stacking stapled documents. I love the white/pink colour.

The Rapid Supreme stapler is a nicely designed piece of kit, requiring noticeably less effort to do its business compared with conventional staplers.It's fairly weighty for its size and is furnished with a nicely rubberised non-slip base. The partly cantilevered mechanism means that a surprisingly light touch will press the hammer/handle down onto the striking plate and drive through more sheets of paper that you would think possible. The blurb recommends you use Rapid's own "Omnipress 30" staples (the 30 indicates that it should staple at least 30 sheets), but I found it is quite happy using standard 26/6 staples. Shame that not even one strip of staples is included with the Omnipress SO30 though.The big plus with this stapler is that the striking plate is designed to produce beautifully flat staples (see photo). Thus if you stack a pile of stapled documents, you should not find them bulging up unevenly on the stapled corner as you will if using a conventional stapler.For me, the biggest bonus is that it is just as easy to use on your desktop as when held in your hand. Given a choice, I'm not sure I would have chosen a shocking pink and white colour scheme. No big deal though. This feels and functions like a quality product and I'm sure I will get many years of use from it.

This is an interesting stapler. It feels a little heavier than most staplers of a similar size - but only marginally. The stapling action is very easy, easier than most, and this would be a good choice for anyone with chronic pain or difficulties with their hand or wrist. It takes up to 20 sheets, and the staples lie very flat, again, flatter than other staplers I have used. This means that if you are stapling many documents - you don't get that raised corner where all the staples are.I was impressed with this, it works very well.

This is a really sturdy, attractive and easy-to-use stapler. The push-anywhere feature simply works: push anywhere on the top of the stapler to operate, rather than it being levered from one end. Opening and filling it is done by pulling the body back, which is relatively straightforward. Not much more that I can say about it other than: a great stapler.

OK so I know I shouldn't get excited about a stapler, but this thing is very cool, it's incredibly easy to use, almost shockingly so, the action is so smooth you are surprised to see a staple in the paper.And the box the Rapid staples come in caused my wife to shriek in delight "oh my that is so sweet!" the box is tiny and yet contains 200 staples!And as the box promises the staple is incredibly flat in use!This is a top class product and Leitz has made a break through in stapling here, this is brilliant!

Estoy encantada con la grapadora. Grapa super suave y las grapas quedan muy pegadas al papel. Incluso teniendo muchas hojas que grapar lo deja bien y se grapa de forma facil y suave. Lo recomiendo 100%
