lovely nightcap
Really nice flavour and is a delight to drink, I've tried several other brands but this has that lovely bitter wormwood kick to it.I wouldn't have this as a daytime drink as it's rather moreish and at this price for this size bottle it works out rather expensive, for me a single nip before bedtime and it helps me to drift off.

I love this thing! The best one i have ever tried so far...had it sooo many times already.....and gonna get some more...not too sweet like others but taste great! Not too strong either...

Best first try at absinthe and not too dear.
This absinthe was the first i tried many years ago. I think its possibly one of the best to get into absinthe. Not too strong but pleasant.also cheap by absinthe standards. Absinthe is a happy drink i always think. Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder as they say. Id give it a try with lemonade and ice. Not traditionally but i like it this way.

New to absinthe? Buy this.
This is a great starting point if you are new to absinthe. It is far less expensive than almost all others and nice to drink. It tastes similar to liquorice. Surprisingly much easier to drink than vodka etc!This seemed to produce a much better 'drunk' feeling after a few drinks and does not 'hit you'. It is a smooth, pleasant transition.Highly recommend, don't be put off!

Okay for my first true absinthe
This is the first time I've purchased absinthe for myself. I have tried it before, not sure what brand but I liked it. Now my taste in spirits is always towards herb-like drinks so I thought this one was right up my street. Although it is nice it does have quite a strong bitter taste and not being the biggest fan of sweet drinks I decided to try it without a sugar cube. It was a little too harsh for me so I tried it with a sugar and although better, it just wasn't quite what I was hoping for. It hasn't put me off trying other types of Absinthe but I don't think this one is quite 'me'. I will definitely finish the bottle (over time) but for me personally I wouldn't buy it again.

Resplendent addition to a kitchen
A curious purchase for someone who doesn't drink, but this neatly complements the other spirits adorning my kitchen. Perhaps some momentous life event will provide the impetus to crack it open, at the moment it just looks pretty there.

I hate the stuff but my husband loves it. Make sure to only drink it in small quantities though
