Nice watch for nice people
This is just a very nice watch. The dial is clear but has a nice bit of Scandi-style, the strap is comfy and it’s big enough not to look silly on my wrists. In a perfect world the strap would be about 1-2cm longer, but if it fits me I wouldn’t worry about it fitting you. Haven’t tried properly dunking it in water but it’s survived several splashes whilst washing up etc with no ill effects. After 2 months of daily wear it still looks basically like new. No complaints.

Skagen send you broken watches and then charge you for repair (proof below)
I purchased this watch in September 2022. It arrived not working. I changed the battery, and it seemed to work, albeit it's running a little slow (Skagen are not what they used to be, alas). I emailed the company Fossil ([email protected]). Their review included the following, quoted verbatim: "We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with this item. Unfortunately we don't sell small parts of watches. However, we can certainly look to repair this for you" As well as making it clear that I would be personally responsible for any damage occurring during transit to the repair company, they make it clear that I may be responsible for payment: "If there is any chargeable work to your item we will contact you with a no obligation quote that you can manage online." ... this is on a new product, that I've just bought FROM THE SKAGEN STORE ON AMAZON!!! No offer to send me a new battery. No confirmation that they would cover postal costs, repair costs, etc. Please don't use this company. They are no longer the reputable firm that Skagen once were, alas. I will also be emailing Amazon, whose much higher customer satisfaction standards will, I'm sure, cause them concern with regard to stocking this company.

Skagen, Danish sophisticated style, which pleases.
The Skagen Watch was purchased as a special gift.The recipient of my gift is Danish.We visited Skagen together 4 years ago, and his first gift to me for my 60th birthday was made by 'Skagen'. He has awarded the Watch 5 stars because as a Dane he is fiercely patriotic and naturally responds to the stylish use of design and materials employed in it's manufacture.
