Price/Quality ratio is off the charts. Great little pedal
The pedal travel mimics a Hammond organ's swell very effectively on clone-wheel organ keyboards. The bulk of the volume gain happens at the end of the travel of the pedal, not the beginning, as is the case with Roland's and Yamaha's expression pedals. The Moog EP-3 was a fabulous expression pedal, but it is a discontinued item at this time. It's made of plastic, but so is the Roland EV-5. I'd rate the build quality as good and it's a bargain at 1/3 the price!

Great expression pedal for the price
Worked perfectly out of the box on a Roland VGA-5 guitar amplifier. Plugged into the expression 1/4” jack on the back of the amp and now have control of the wah and volume on the other expression effects. Seems durable and has a long enough cord for use in the guitar room. Price is far less expensive than the BOSS (OEM) pedal.

Excellent and dependable
For such a cheap, plastic, expression pedal, it’s held up to punishing usage, travel, and hasn’t given me a single issue. I use it primarily with my Helix Lt, but have used it on synths as well. For the price it definitely can’t be beat

Nice
Works and it’s cheaper than others. Only problem is the cord is permanently attached.

Great cheap pedal!
So what it's plastic and feels cheap. It's only $20! When the next cheapest pedal costs $60+ what can you complain about? Maybe you can find a better pedal in the used market but $20 is a very hard deal to beat. Musicians tend to get pretentious and begin chasing diminishing returns - this pedal just works. It's light, long cable length and it's plug and play. Sure I wish the cable was removable too, but at this point I'm looking for things to criticize. I am a touring musician and the pedal saw heavy usage during my 8 week tour and at my house for the past 6 months. It's held up despite being tossed around my case through flights and rough drives. Yeah it feels cheap but it just works! And that's more that can be said about some of the more expensive pedals. Don't be fooled by the cheap pricepoint, it just works!

It doesn’t have full range.
When it is 75% it registers as 100% and doesn’t take advantage of 25% of the range. I guess you get what you pay for.

Works well and is a good deal at this price point
Plastic, but pretty sturdy ABS. At this price point, it’s completely reasonable. The sweep is even. I use it with an EH Pitchfork pedal and I can do pretty much everything the Whammy pedal does. If you want an expression pedal on the cheap, this is hard to beat at this price.
