Rust super easy and dont hold an edge.
I had a problem with first order,the company was gracious and sent a replacement.same problems.....while the knives look nice,they rust just from my humid weather here in iowa.not certain how they claim stainless steel.i would not reccomend these knives and would be prepaired to spend more money for some quality ones.

Rust/color is coming off
Love the color! Rusty after the first wash? Not sure how the will hold up. Very disappointed. If I'm not contacted by the company I will be returning.6 month update: The company contacted me and said to not put in the dishwasher. So I haven't. We hand wash them. It's only myself and my husband using these most of the time. I have added a picture of the color coming off. I can't imagine how they would look if I had these when I was raising my kids and there was a lot more wear and tear on them. Poor quality.

First was good then discovered cheap
We had these knives since November 2019. They looked great and came sharp. After two months we started noticing that the candy Apple red finish on the handles was chipping away. Look closely at the pictures and you will see. You can easily chip them further with your fingernails. We followed directions and NEVER put them in the dishwasher. We always cleaned them by hand with a sponge as per directions.. We take care of our possessions and stored these carefully back into the wood block. Not what we expected from this company. If you're looking for a great looking set to stay that way, don't buy these!

Just what I expected
Nice sharp knifes. We had one of the steak knifes come in damaged, but as soon as I contacted the seller they sent me a replacement knife.

Big, Pretty Bang for the Buck
We are VERY pleased with our knife set. Not only is the red shiny handles like a "candy-apple red", the knives are sharp. We used them tonight to cut steak and were very pleased. Having a knife sharpener and nice wood block is a plus. I would highly recommend these knives.

Really nice knives.
So far I’m loving these knives. They cut through food so much better than the old ones I had. They look cool too. I bought the red ones. They also feel balanced and are a good weight.

Sharp and beautiful, but not a durable finish.
The knives came very sharp right out of the box. The finish is beautiful, reminds me of a darker candy apple red that you might find on a beautiful classic hot rod. The only problem is the finish isn't bonded to the knife very well. It chips very easily, and my wife claims they start to fisty very quickly if left wet. Not totally satisfied with their durability.

Red is peeling off after only a few uses and always washed by hand. Also a few rust spots on knife.
I absolutely love my new set and the only reason I gave it only 4 stars was because I used a steak knife one time and hand washed it and put it aside to dry and next morning it had rust spots on it. I got most of it off with my fingernail but still wasn't happy about it. Now I need to add that the red on the handle is peeling off and we always wash them by hand and never in the dishwasher.
