One small step for a night light.
The media could not be loaded. I love this little guy. The figure is built well and looks great. Both arms can be rotated and posed, the head can be rotated in all directions as its held by a magnet. It can be detached if needed however the cord needs to remain connected to his back pack. It's a handy option if you need to reach the light into a specific place and the body won't fit.The light gives a very good nebula effect. It's more focused than other galaxy lights so it doesn't spread across the ceiling as much but with the addition of the stars from the green laser it gives a really good space effect. The remote is basic but works well. There are also buttons on the backpack of the astronaut which work the light and laser. It runs quietly enough to be used as a bedroom night light and not cause any disruption. It looks great when sat on the shelf then really comes to life when turned on. I love everything about this light, would definitely recommend.

Fun product and the kids actually use it
Great effect (even though the stars are unfortunately green). Soft fade in/out stars. In general, the projector and the remote control) make it a high-quality and stable little spaceman. The body is more solid “hard rubber” than plastic. I like the fact that the head is completely infinitely adjustable and even removable - with magnetic attachment, very innovative. No wobbling. However, I think it’s really top heavy. The entire astronaut head is the projector so it's heavy, but the rest of the body is just lightweight hollow plastic. It stands fine if you absolutely don't touch it, but if I even slightly bump the table, it's on or brush against it the thing falls over. If you have a sturdy surface to place it on that won't shake at all and is not near anyone that might bump it then this thing is perfect The motor that rotates the Aurora is virtually inaudible. The USB cable with DC adapter is a bit disappointing. Why does the projector not have a micro-USB or USB-C port? So now you have another additional cable lying around that you can only use for this purpose. The remote need 2 AAA batteries you can change the colours and brightness of the stars as well as the speed that moves the galaxy. It’s very easy to assemble and get set up I highly recommend to anyone adults or child that is looking for a "night light”. It also has a timer so you can set if you do not want it running all hours of the night (45 minutes or 90 minutes automatically turn off).

A model astronaut with laser stars and nebula lights!
The media could not be loaded. This is a fun spinning nebula and fixed fading/breathing laser star lamp. It is shaped like an astronaut and stands in a moon surface base. The arms are posable and the head is held in place by magnets and can rotate to point in all feasible directions. There are 8 nebula colours and laser stars. Each can have the stars on with it or off and you can have just the stars on which gives the 17 options described. The lamp is mains powered by included cable with usb. There is a good size, easy to use remote. The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). There are also buttons on the astronauts back pack to switch on/off turn nebula and laser stars on/off. Using the remote you can control the speed of the lights and the brightness. There is also a timer function with two settings. The lamp is sturdy and quality built. It's a bit difficult to measure but my guess is about 22cm tall.It costs £27.99 which isn't a bad price in my opinion.

Well used in our child's bedroom
The Galaxy Projector is a fantastic addition to any room, providing a mesmerizing starry night experience. It's great for both kids and adults, and its sturdy design ensures that it stays put on any surface. Our son absolutely loves this projector! He spends hours gazing at the stars projected on his ceiling, which helps him relax and unwind before bed. When he's ready to sleep, he can easily turn off the projector using the remote control, which he keeps conveniently by his side.Overall, we're very impressed with the Galaxy Projector. It's easy to use, provides a calming and relaxing atmosphere, and its adjustable features allow you to customize the experience to your liking. We highly recommend this projector to anyone looking to add a little magic to their living space. It comes with a remote control so our son takes it with him on his bed and turns it off when he needs to sleep.

Not a genuine projector
I requested this as a Vine customer as I'm interested in astronomy and I thought that it would get my grandson interested in the stars and planets. The projector is very simple to set up, just remove all the packaging, plug into a USB connector an turn it on and you're away. The remote control makes changing the functions of the stars and nebulae very easy. The display is colourful and very bright and would be good for a child's bedroom both for low illumination and relaxation as part of a bedtime routine.I thought that this item might project some constellations and different nebulae that are commonly known but that's not the case. The nebulae projection is a generic representation of what we think a nebulae looks like, i.e a gaseous field illuminated by different coloured starlight and in this case it also rotates to give it some degree of motion. The star field is really just a grid of bright green light points that pulse on and off. There are no recognisable constellations and the regular layout makes it look like a grid that is only shaped by the contours of the room it's being projected onto. The spaceman shape of the projector is quite cute and it comes with a stand to keep it stable. The head of the astronaut can be moved to change the direction of the projection.Verdict: Lots of nice colours and shapes and this would be great for young children under 5 but once a child becomes aware of the night sky this item may fall a little flat. Price is a bit on the high side too at £27.99. I wouldn't pay more than £20 for this.
