EXCELLENT KNIFE SET
I love the new knife set. I especially like the built in sharpener. The knives are SHARP. So far, I really like them. They feel good and sturdy. The cutting board is a nice addition. Overall, I would highly recommend them. I'll update if anything changes.

The best knife set on the market!
These are outstanding knives. They are NOT the cheap imitation knife sets that have serrated edges on ALL their knives. These knives come with extremely keen edges that go through material like a "light saber." The set provides more knives than other sets and as a bonus has a built in sharpener. The handles are superbly comfortable and they all have a full tang. If that isn't enough they send you a bamboo cutting board. You can spend two or three times the amount of money but will not come near two times the quality. I had never heard of the company so I took a chance. I have absolutely no regrets. My wife can't stop praising their quality.

RUST AFTER 3 WEEKS!!
UPDATE: I'm sorry to say but my review went from five stars to one star. Ive had this set for less than a month and they're getting rusty!! I had my last set for almost ten years and never once did I see rust!! Admittedly, I put these knives in the dishwasher, but WHO DOESNT! It shouldn't be rusting after 5 uses. Also, I clean and dry them immediately after each use. I'm not sure why this happened,but it's disappointing. I really liked these knives.BEGIN ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've only had this for a few weeks but so far I'm very happy. Very nice and very well built. The knives are extremely sharp and sturdy. I like the built in sharpener. The grey knife block is not wood, but it's very nice. The only thing I don't like is the brand name is written largely front & center on the block.

xcellent customer service
My set arrived with one damaged knife. The box was fine, but the knife looks like it had been dropped before being packed up. I immediately started the exchange process and had a new set within two days. I also received a follow-up email from McCook, asking if there was anything else they could do to make this right. I understand that nobody's perfect, and companies make mistakes. But McCook made this right, without any hassle, and that's what counts.As far as the knifes go, its a beautiful set. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. I expect to get many years of service out of it.

Love it, so far!
So far so good, we haven't noticed any rusting but that being said, we do hand wash and dry after use. I do not recommend putting them in the dish washer. They do feel solid, and with this particular sit enjoy the variety of this knife sit.

CHEAP JUNK
This was a complete disappointment. There were metal shavings at the end of each blade like it was stamped from a dull cutout. Support told me to use the sharpener to get rid of it. For this money? No. Sent back and got a real brand

I really like this knife set! Exactly what I was looking for. They're great quality and I appreciated the included cutting board as well. I would definitely recommend these!

So far go good!
I have only had this product for about 1 week, but so far I like it very much and it looks great on my counter. It was delivered with no problems and in excellent condition. I like the idea of the built in knife sharpener also. I will try to get back again when I have had it longer. As of now it is great!
