Great quality and very accurate!
I was actually very surprised at the quality - it's great! I use this on my Strietman since it's smaller than the Acaia Lunar so it gives me more clearance for cups.My favorite feature is double tapping the power button 3 times which puts it into a mode where it starts timing when the coffee starts pouring in.

8888unst error code
I'm actually pretty sad about this product not working. I have many other ikape products and really liked them, but this scale does not work. After charging the scale and turning it on, it only shows a 8888unst error code. I am unable to find any troubleshooting info online about this problem. I will be returning this product and choosing a different brand for my espresso scale.

Accuracy to the tenth of a gram!
So I found myself in the need of a more accurate digital food scale as my existing scale was only accurate to the nearest gram. When trying to dial in my new expresso machine I found it very difficult to get consistent pulls as I didn't know if I had 17.0 grams or 17.9 grams. With this scale I now know, and my pulls are more consistent than ever. I can't wait to use the time and weight functionality of this scale. I'll update this review once I've finally used that function. Right now, I only pull by volume, not weight or time.

Pretty good
The intelligent mode is a bit finicky when it comes to timing/weighing the shots. I find myself using it more for basic scale functions. It might work better in P1 or P2 mode, but I used E mode for espresso shots only. (When I was brewing espresso shots, the gram weight of the shots were going up, but the timer didn't start until late! It was very weird.) The other modes are for pour-over drinks.

Definite get what you pay for; both quality and function aspects.
It works, but it definitely works like a $30 scale instead of $100 scale. In general, it works. it's accurate for the weight it measured. However,1. it turns on and off somewhat randomly when I touch or move it; even though I am careful not touching the off "touch button".2. Similarly, it reset and zero out randomly. I wanted to weight the exact amount of grind going into portafilter, but often after I zero out portafiliter weight, while grinding and WDT the grind, it will reset the zero, which in terms lost the zero out empty portafilter weight.3. Automatic timer for espresso is not working accurately; nearly useless. It usually does not start the timer until at least 1 to 1.5 g of espresso is already coming out, resulting in measure error up to 3~4 second each time. (that's 10% error since my pull time for 40g is about 30 seconds....making this automatic feasure pretty much useless)4. Instruction manual is not helpful. I figured out how to turn it on and use the scale pretty much through trial-and-error. Instruction manual is more misleading than helpful.So....does it work as a scale? Yes. Does it feel like it's going to last, No. Is the automatic function useful? No. overall...well, it's $30 so I can't complain too much.

Very sleek scale
Nice design with a sleek look. The scale part works well, and so does the timer. Didn't have any issues with either. No complaints.

Looking for consistent results using the scale.
Instructions are included for creating a pour-over cup of coffee. We often make pour-over for ourselves when we camp or travel. We've used a scoop to measure the coffee and a mug to measure the water. This will be our first experiment making pour-over using a coffee scale. The print is small and the instructions seem complicated. I was able to view some websites with videos to better understand the sequence and timing of brewing a pour-over coffee.I checked the website listed at the beginning of the manual, but found no way to view in English.I thought I liked strong coffee, but the video-recommended ratio of 30 grams coffee to 350 grams water was stronger than I cared for while drinking it black.I'll certainly be adjusting the amount of coffee to water ratio to please our pallet and with this tool, I'll be able to achieve more consistency from cup to cup.I do like the feature that automatically zeros the scale when the brewing aparatus is placed on the scale.Metal and glass on the outside. Solid feel. The scale is accurate according to the 100 gram weight included in the kit. I also tested with some old-school weights ranging between 25 and 500 grams and found each to be within a tenth of a gram if not right on.The scale is also small enough to travel with us on our journeys making it more likely to be useful for brewing our morning coffee.
