Looks great, works good. Doesn't pick sound unless you are VERY close. 6 inches or less. I was hoping the pickup would be good for 12-24 inches. This will make a GREAT backup mic or a great mic if you are the one using it and understand how close it has to be to your mouth. I don't think it is good for guest speakers or people who don't use a mic often.

For whatever reason, people find the white finish striking. Anyway, it's a good super cardioid dynamic with good side rejection. Flattering for my dull voice. Tough build.

The SE V7 is a great mic. I played professionally and used this mic at a club that provided sound and was giving this mic to use for the show. I was so impressed I bought one for myself. Love the white color!

I exchanged my white V-7 to a Vintage Edition, but both are good quality for the price. For me this V-7 is equivalent to the Shure Beta 58-A !!
