Pacsafe Go 25l Anti Theft Backpack

Took its time to arrive from the USA but worth the wait. I have the smaller 15l Pacsafe backpack and now I'm delighted to have the matching larger bag for those bigger jobs. It feels well built, secure and has great pockets and secure spaces for all my bits. Happy traveller.

Took to Europe- purchased especially for trip. added a double dring as it was difficult to access the security features at times. Gave peace of mind while travelling by train. Stowed contacts in pouches as the inside has only 1 slot for iPad/tablet or small computer and a small RFID pocket.

Timely delivery. Well made and true to stock photos. Security features are as described with good feel in locks in zips and clasps. Good padding in straps. Fits laptop with room to spare. Side pockets a bit shallow as it does not open all the way down so needs a small water bottle. Otherwise, all fine with product.

At first glance the backpack is expensive, however I think the anti theft features make it a worthwhile purchase. This is the Pacsafe GO 25l backpack and is a decent size and appears sturdy and roomy. The two side pockets have enough depth to easily fit a 500ml bottle of water and a small umbrella. The luggage slip through strap is useful to hang over a suitcase handle. The main zipper has a zip clip to secure the zip and I found it easy to attach and release, it slips down into the side pocket giving a little bit more security. The front compartment has a Dock lock which secures the zipper into place so it's not easily removed without squeezing the Dock lock to release it. One of the back straps has a turn lock so that you can attach the strap to a table for example and then lock it into place. The lock is small and I'm a little concerned about it's longevity with continued use but that will remain to be seen in time. Obviously the body and strap slashguard isn't visible, but I'm confident that it will provide decent protection due to the external and internal quality of the material. The front pocket is spacious and the keyring loop useful. In the main pocket there is room for a good sized laptop and the RFID pocket is the size of a smart phone. I think it may have been useful to have had two of these pockets as the one provided would only comfortably fit a passport and a small wallet or purse. I like that the pocket is secured with a velcro fastening but I would rather have had two pockets and done away with the pen holder pocket. Overall I'm happy with the features to justify the price paid and feel confident to use it on an overseas tour.
