THERMOS ICON SERIES, Stainless Steel Tumbler, Saddle, 16 oz

**EDIT: Thermos sent me new lid. And I realized the problem: there is a black rubber gasket on the bottom of the lid. It is rather loose (on both original and the new one which is the same) so as to make it is easy to remove for cleaning (“one” must resign oneself to a 10 minute duel to get the gasket on and off the KING model so “one” usually simply allows it to get gross before signing up to such a commitment). But it easily falls off when washing and handling and apparently I had lost mine (lol, this is quite fitting, actually, as “I lose my gasket” over the most insignificant matters with astonishing regularity so I am a habitual gasket loser) so it stopped working. Just keep this in mind.**ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am very picky and settled on and love Thermos’s KING tumblers but after 7 years of going through two a year due to the fact that the shiny finish chips (and they didn’t make pretty colors in the matte finishes), hating every other brand’s travel coffee mugs (it is always SOMETHING that is stupid), I ordered this newer design, in pink, hoping that since they nailed it w the KING, perhaps they know what they are doing.And…..it was good for a month. While, unfortunately, it is *heavier* by about 30%; it is not as easy to grasp for small lady paws like mine; and it is NOT as insulating as their King tumblers; AND the lid locking mechanism is way less secure than the KING model (which I can literally throw into my bag upside down and throw it down the stairs, which is part of my morning routine), I still like it much more than all the Stanley/Hydro/Yeti offerings for hot drinks. Still, I estimate it keeps my coffee hot less efficiently by about 20%, which is significant (I enjoy either piping hot coffee or cold coffee and nothing in between!). BUT IT IS PINK! And the design makes it less tippy than the King (knocking over liquid containing devices is my part-time job). So functionality can take a hit for the boost in looks.HOWEVER…after soon the lid swivel thing that opens and closes the flow of fluid BROKE. Even when I swivel it to the “closed” position it remains open. And of course on “open” it is also open. Wrote the company. Hope they will replace.

I love this item for 3 things; (1) it can easily be clean! You can take apart the top portion and thoroughly clean the screwed top (2) it keeps my coffee hot after an hour when I get to work! I love that my coffee can stay hot after a commute, which is when I can start to drink it., after getting settled. (3) Love the size, can fit under my coffee maker, when I brew it. It’s wide enough for me to clean it, and can fit in my cup holder in the car!

I had dropped my old coffee mug one too many times and needed a new one. I am so happy I had to replace my coffee mug. This one is much better than my old one. The lid closes to keep the liquid inside. It keeps my coffee warn for several hours. It is easy to clean. I can't say enough good things about this mug!

Amazing quality, keeps my coffee hot for hours,the no spill design is valuable

Just bought this insulated cup. I cannot remove the lid?!?!? I love this brand but this is a disappointment. It screws to seal but to unscrew it, it won't twist off!

This was wonderful and my husband loved it.

Most days it keeps ice in my water for the better part of the day. I do extremely hot water in the cup before I put my coffee in it and it keeps my coffee hot for at least 2 to 3 hours.. my coffee never lasts longer than an hour. 😀Unfortunately, it does leak. It is heavy and I knock it over constantly. I think the price is way too high. It is a good size.. I just wanna cup that doesn’t leak and it isn’t so heavy.
