Nice adapter plug
I needed something to let me plug in to a normal 110v 15amp outlet (5-15R) with my adjustable EVSE (ev charger) that came with only a 6-20p plug end. The EVSE has an adjustable amp, so as long as I keep the amps below 12, this works great with the EVSE to let me use a standard house outlet.

Conditional rating: Do not use to connect a 20A machine to a 15A outlet.
I'm giving this a good rating because it does do what it claims, BUT I took off a star because it really should be pointed out in the description that this should NOT be used to simply connect any device/machine with a 20A plug to a 15A outlet. It is irresponsible and dangerous to just sell this as a 20A-15A adapter; it's just asking for a circuit/outlet to be overloaded.A previous reviewer mentioned that they use it with a variable power device that has a 20A plug, but can be set to operate at lower amperage. That is the only circumstance for this; that and as a short extension for a standard 15A plug (that's how I'm using it).Most machines/devices that have 20A plugs should only be plugged into a compatible outlet that can handle the 20A load, they should not be adapted to use with a 15A outlet.

Just as described
I got this item recently and it is just as described and pictured on the listing page. It's got a good AWG rating and feel thick and durable; I'm sure it hands the amperages for which it is rated for properly. I'd recommend this cord.
