I love this bulb for adding subtle mood lighting to my living room. Amazing quality but very competitively priced. I've had similarly priced items that didn't last, didn't work as well and had awkward, poor apps to control the bulbs. The free downloadable app here is easy to use and understand and works with several devices. I have my bulbs in plug in wall lights and it allows me to dim the light for a relaxing cosy glow or go for maximum brightness for task lighting. It really makes a simple fitting so much more useful and adaptable. Of course the ability to cycle through an entire rainbow of colours has been a huge hit, adding some pizzazz to movie nights and get togethers. I have mine on all evening, every evening are they are still going strong over 6 months later, without one problem. Very pleased and will definitely be buying more in future!

Easy to set up with app

I used this light in my desk lamp, it was a suitable light, the wattage was not too high. I bought this in February 2022 and in September 2022 the white colour function started to flicker between bright white and warm white, there was no pattern to it it just flickered between. The other colours seem to work fine, it does keep disconnecting from the network from time to time, but this is an old house with thick walls.

I use Lumina bulbs for the rest of the house. They all work well, but these E14 ones constantly failed to pair and would randomly reset. One now has stopped working completely.

From out of box to fully set up in just a couple of minutes if not shorter, works as described providing you follow the instructions. The PlusMinus App is used to control the device which also works well (Android version used). Integration with Google Home was simple enough. Integration with Alexa requires you to enter in your Amazon password/username which is the older authentication method and could do with updating.Performance wise, it has a good colour range, brightness/luminosity is acceptable for the rating of the bulb. All features advertised worked well.My one small gripe is that when the device loses power, you must re-add the device. The device does not appear to re-connect to the Wi-Fi access point upon restoration of power.This is as simple as powering the device on/off with the 2 second delay three times upon which the device is added back with the same settings as previous. All schedules and automations for the device are remembered when the device is added back, you just lose the ability to control the device until it is reconnected with your Wi-Fi access point.By "loses power" I do not mean regular powering off, I'm talking short brown outs/ total loss of mains power for any length of time.Depending on the stability of your mains supply, this might not be an issue for you. However, in my instance for example, our power is supplied by overhead cables and is susceptible to the odd brown out (damp leaves/branches against lines, birds on the wire etc etc). If I had multiple instances of these bulbs fitted in my property, I would not want to have to go round and re-add each device every time we had a slight power glitch.Overall, excellent value for money but I would only use a few of these in lamps/light fittings (3 or 4) rather than as a main lighting (i.e. replacing existing bulbs throughout a property) due to the losing power issue. If not for this losing power issue, I would have rated this device 5 * overall.

Took a little time to set up, but when we read the reviews about turning off the 5ghz Its went on straight away. Lovely colours, and lots of set colour combinations available to choose from the easy to contol app. And also work great with Alexa.. will buy more :)

I purchased this bulb to replace a standard bulb in a small lamp on a unit in our dining room.The bulb is just perfect - plenty bright enough at the higher settings, but also enough control through the app to dim the bulb as much as you could possibly want to.The addition of being able to set to different colours or use the microphone on your phone to pick up music and change the colour of the bob to the beat will be great additions when having parties etc.Easy to set up, app is one of the easier ones to use and integrated well with Google assistant
