I bought this package for my camping and tried it at home first. It was legit and does work as it was described; I recommend using this, especially for morning coffee when you are too tired and lazy to boil the water during camp 😂

I bought this to prep for my upcoming backpacking. I tried make ramen with it which worked great. I also used it on a date night to melt some cheese for fondue. It kept the cheese warm for hours.

I use these for work and events. Be cautious, as they can get extremely hot. The steam released when opening them can cause burns.

The media could not be loaded. My wife and I tested it before we went camping.It worked well. I do wish it came with a container or kit, though.

These say they are safe and non toxic, but this is calcium oxide or Quick lime. Very high PH. Got really hot but be careful not to handle the caustic residual water. My kid got a small chemical burn handling the used pad.

In terms of working, this pouch worked great. I used it just like stated and put a ramen in the pouch provided and added water to the appropriate level indicated, took the cooking pouch and put it at the bottom of big bag, put the smaller pouch with ramen noodle on top of cooking pouch, closed it, and added it to the bigger pouch, added water to the big one, and it cooked. You could plainly see the bubbles that indicated it was cooking and you could see and feel the heat. The size of the pouch you put the food in is small so there's only room for one ramen, but it fit well. You might could cook this in a heat safe bowl and pot of some sort if that's how you wanted to set it up. The directions were pretty easy to understand as long as you pay attention to them carefully.Here's where the issue lies. It wasn't with Amazon or even the product itself. The issue lies with the fact that I originally ordered the 5 pack. When I received it, there was ONE single pouch. NOT 5. So I went it and re-checked my order to make sure I didn't mix it up and get the order wrong. I didn't. So I contacted Amazon and they sent out a replacement. Only, the replacement was ALSO one single one. When I contacted Amazon again regarding the issue, they refunded it. So, the product works but I only got 2 out of the 5 I was supposed to get. Not sure what was going on or what happened but be wary of ordering for this purpose. The listing isn't what you'll get.

I was hesitant because it’s a bit pricier than other products, but I’m really happy with it. It heats up faster and lasts longer than other flameless pads. Plus, the charcoal scent is a nice touch.
