I have an older pillow top mattress today and was having problems with hip and shoulder pain. I didn't want to buy a new mattress, so I bought the 2" version of this topper and so far so good! It is comfortable. I'm not tossing and turning as much. It does retain some heat so I've adjusted how many covers I use at night. It does have a bit of a smell, which I think will go away with time. I only notice it when I move the covers (turning over, etc). I did let it sit out 24 hours before I put it on my bed to expand and lose some of the fumes.

I am a side sleeper, and I haven't experienced any hip pain since I put this on our bed- it's only been 5 nights, but it's a good start. When my partner is in the bed, it does tend to sag towards him. He's about 180 lbs, and I'm about 130. My only regret is not getting the 3 inch topper. I was too worried that my sheets wouldn't fit over the 3 inches. But after seeing how they fit with the 2 inch topper, I'm positive I could have gone with the 3 inch. So far I would recommend!

This has really helped our sleep. We've used ViscoSoft's 3" topper for several years, but it wasn't quite right for either of us. The 3" pad shifted on the bed, and the sheets would pop off frequently too. It was too tall and a little too soft. But we found our bliss with the 2" topper. It's absolutely perfect and firms up our slightly-too-soft mattress. It doesn't have any of the issues that the 3" had. Highly recommend.

I bought the 2 inch queen topper. It was so easy to handle from the box to the bed. There was no odor at all. I’m happy with my purchase.
