I find this product drying for my type of curls. I have 3A curls. It does create a lot of volume, especially when you mix it with water. The mixture feels like a styling foam. However, I don't think it clumped my curls the way my usual products do. However, it works AMAZING for my friend who has type 4 curls and is her go-to product. I could be doing something wrong, so I won't say it's the product since others I know are very happy with it.

This is the best product ever created for natural hair. I use it daily and the results are amazing. I often get asked what I use in my hair. I recommend this product daily. Its the only product I use outside of shampoo and conditioner. I was introduced to the product 3 years ago and have used it ever since. Love the new packaging too!

I loved the curls, my hair was extremely dry hard and crunchy. I spritzed it every day with water it looked great but still hard and crunchy when it dried. On the fifth day I shampooed my hair and it would bot wash out...I panicked I ended yo having to get a clarifying shampoo and brush it out. It was horrible...

I have 4c hair i watched the YouTube examples from these girls, my hair was hard snd when dryed it became extremely flaky when pulled curls apart. This product does not do what its says. It was not gor me not worth 37 dollars. Its just another hair line make profit off the natural trend today. Tried to send back for refund it was guarenteed, seller refused and would not answer my emails. If u like your hair hard then this is it.

Locks in moisture and curl. Changed my Hair’s life. The trick is application and what shampoo and conditioner you use. Make sure your hair is clean and well moisturized, then this product can do its job.

Update: For those with sensitivities this product is good but makes hair hard and is way to expensive, it used to be 18 dollars and now is 28 dollars in 2 years, not counting 8 dollar shipping. The best hair care product for natural hair that is not natural is johhny b mode. It makes your hair and skin glow. It is a combination of a pomade and gel and just adding water refreshes the curl. Only problem for me is it is scented. You get a big jar for 12 dollars and your curls will never be so nice. My hair looked wig-like. Don't buy this. The manufacturer did not have a production increase of $10 in 2 years. Previous Post For every person I read a negative reviews from they complained either the product left their hair white, hard, didn't work, etc. You have to research the actual salon " Hydra Bar on YouTube" to learn how to use the product. There is a whole technique if you do it over time your curls become loser and stretched. It also is all natural for those that are sensitive. Please research and you can spray aloe vera juice on the hair before applying product to help with drying. And water mist the hair to prevent reside. If you utilize the tying technique with multiple head ties in sections you can maintain your wash and go for a week and refresh with water mist. The only complaint I do agree with is it very expensive. But you are only using one product if you don't use the aloe vera juice. You are saving money and if you just blench aloe form the plant that can last for months.

Left my hair super defined and lasted a week and a half. Excited that i didnt have to use anything else besides water. It does leave your hair hard, but it sofetens over the days.
