After reading about several under sink kitchen water filter systems, I decided to get the WATERDROP 3 stage filter. I considered three factors: levels of filtering, cost a year to maintain the system (cost of filters), and the easiness to install.I just like the 8 stage deep filtration system. It filters all the elements most common in city water and makes the water taste great.The maintenance cost is about average for most filters — about $100 a year — so this was not an issue to me. I could had gone for another system to save me 20 dollars a year but I just felt the quality for this water filtration system was superior.Installation was very easy. The system came with all the parts needed. The installation video in Amazon was very clear and helpful, and after viewing it about three times, it only took me about 15 minutes to install it (never installed a water filter before).After the system was installed, I let the faucet of water filtered run for about 10 minutes and checked for leaks — no leaks. Then, I made a taste comparison test between the water straight from the faucet and the water from the filter. The water from the filter was so crisp, clear and very tasty. (I had filters before, so I know what clean water should taste like). Now I can make a cup of my expensive coffee and enjoy the flavor! But to me the most important issue is that I no longer have to carry those 40-bottled packages of water from the car to the house. Very satisfied with the WATERDROP 3 STAGE FILTER.

Easy to install, fit perfectly in the soap dispenser hole. Water tastes great.

I got this specifically to filter water going to the fridge. It came with 2 connectors that had 3/8" male and female screw ends but I discovered that the inlet and outlet of the filter was actually 1/4". This made it so convenient to just connect 1/4" PEX lines from the wall outlet to the fridge (bought separately).It is made clear on the website description that it does not do TDS and that is true. My water tested 125 on the TDS meter from the tap and it was the same post-filtered.Flow does slow just a tad but that is to be expected considering it is going through 3 filters and there no signs of leak. I tried having the filter stand up and laying flat on its back. This would help folks that do not have space behind the fridge and want to lay it flat on top of the fridge.Overall I recommend this water filter as it is easy to install and easy to replace.

Extremely easy install. I did have to tighten one fitting more than I expected to stop a slow drip but that’s no big deal…just keep an eye out during the first 24 hours (which is no different than any plumbing job)I’d say the filters have 100% improvement to water smell and 90% improvement to taste. This was about what I was expecting from a non-RO systemThe filters do significantly reduce flow rate which in reviews people said wasn’t so bad. So with those issues I had to dock 1 star. If the flow rate was reduced much further I might have considered sending it back and get an RO system with a tank but it’s hard to beat this priceFor reference it now takes just under 30 seconds to fill my coffee pot to the 8 cup mark where as before it’d take just at 10 seconds. Not the end of the world but noticeable

I’ll update once we hear back from customer support and get a resolution. We have had this filter installed for 5 months. For 4 months it was great. Over the last month the water flow has been slower and slower and at this point it is barely a trickle. We replaced the PP filter and it hasn’t helped. I contact customer support to see what the deal is. If there isn’t a resolution I would only give this 1 star as something that works for only 5 months is barely worth it.Update- Customer Service was great and sent us a new filter. They could see by the water report that we needed a CM filter instead of a UF. It now works great. Updating my rating!

The water tastes so good. It doesn't have any leakage. It has a good water pressure and a good quality.

It is a great product. As mentioned, it doesn't impact your TDS but it does provide purified water. I used to use Zero water filter and damn was that pricey.Assembling the product is very easy.I had a problem with the water flow (3 months after the purchase), and I called the customer service of Waterdrop. The customer representative, "Ryan", took care of it and sent me a replacement free of charge. Right now, it's working great!There might be some other products in the market, but I tried the Zero water filter and the Waterdrop filter. Within 10 days, that Zero water filter used to turn acidic. Economically and filtration-wise, I would prefer this Waterdrop.
