Lighting - USB-C
Works great - it cuts down the number of different cables you need.

If your day-to-day is becoming monotonous and you want to play the lottery
For some context, I am an executive, own many tech gadgets, and rarely write reviews... I usually don't have the time, or, more honestly, I have other things I would rather be doing. I always appreciate those that do. I give reviews more weight when I have some background about who is writing them.Like you, I purchased this item because of the number of generally positive reviews and reasonable price. I bought it because I upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro Max and it now uses USC-C instead of the Apple Lightning cords. I have a spaghetti-like collection of old cords in a drawer that I'd like to get some use out of instead of throwing them in the trash, better for the environment, etc.In case you are wondering, yes, I can read and understand that they only charge and are not designed to transfer data.I typically pay the Apple tax because I know their products work, are well-designed, and I don't have to screw around with cheap junk. Every once in a while when life becomes monotonous, I like to go wild and test my luck.Suppose you need some excitement and are looking for a product that works just until the return period is over; you enjoy buying from a company that doesn't state a warranty and has a customer service department that won't respond to multiple emails. In that case, this is THE connector to purchase. One of the two connectors quit working just after 30 days... Just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I fully understand that when mass-producing these types of items, manufacturing problems happen. They are working on volume. Just send the customer a new item, it's only $6 for Peat's sake, and protect your reputation. I'm sure this will be yet another company that disappears from Amazon in a few months or renames its dropship company and sells under another name.If you feel like rolling the dice, go for it. Here I come Apple's $30 dongle.

Works for charging iPhone 16
I received pink color instead of silver, but I kept them. Work as needed to charge iPhone 16 without replacing my Lightning connector cables.

Works with iPhone 15
This allows me to reuse lightning cables for new iPhone 15. The one thing I wish they had was some cable attachment so they are less likely to get lost. I see them getting quickly finding an inaccessible crevice in the car. Will report back if they last. My previous micro USB to lightning adapters made it several years before the last one failed.

It's ACTUALLY Thin
The media could not be loaded. I needed an adapter for a device on my phone... nothing is designed to plug into a phone with an actual case on. Been through several different brands, but I always have to sand them down or mess with them to get the adaptor to simultaneously snap into the phone's USB-C port while also fitting through the case itself. It's maddening how infrequent these things fit together. But ARKTech got it right. This is the thinnest adaptor I've found and though it's a little long for my needs I'll sacrifice the added length for a product that doesn't need to be sanded down any day. I will be sticking with this brand going forward.

Does Not Work Like Genuine USB-C Cable for Charging Applications
I bought this adapter to convert my USB-C to iOS Lightning Cable that I use to charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max with to be able to use the same Cable and power adapter to charge my iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (5th Generation) with. When using this adapter, the iPad indicates that it is charging, but it does not seem to be "fast charging." My iPad was sitting on somewhere around 35% charge remaining when I was in a room where I do not have my USB-C to USB-C cable/power adapter handy. Though both of these items are aftermarket, they perform just as well as genuine Apple products and fast charge my iPad whether I'm using it or not.The room I was in had the same manufacturer/model of USB-C power adapter, but it had an aftermarket USB-C to iOS Lightning Cable for my phone. Thinking that this product would be a convenient and inexpensive way to use this cable/power adapter arrangement to charge my iPad, I bought it. While using my iPad in this room with this cable converter, cable, and power adapter to charge the iPad while I was using it, about an hour had passed. The app I was using does not show battery life during use. After closing the app, I checked the battery charge, and it was at 28%, so the net effect is that the iPad still lost charge despite being plugged in for one hour (though, admittedly, not as much charge if it had not been plugged in at all). I realize that I was using my iPad while it was "charging," but this is not unusual for me and my genuine USB-C to USB-C cable performs very well, despite my use of the iPad while it is connected to the charger. It charges my iPad as if the iPad is idle. The only thing different between these two rooms' setup is this ARKTEK cable adapter. One room used it, the other did not. Where it was used, it could not keep up with the charging requirements I normally place on the power adapter, but in the room where it is not used, the same model of power adapter has no issue with similar demands.I'm not saying that this product does not "work." It works - it does convert the cable over and it does charge, but it will not "fast charge." I imagine that there is a mismatch (or missing) connection between the Lightning Port pins and the USB-C pins.

Lightning to C adapters
With more devices using USB C it just makes sense to have. I only have lightning charging cords for my guests who have Apple devices and from when my kids and I had older iPads. Since we only have Android phones and the upgraded iPads using USB C, this just made sense while still having the lightning cable for our older Apple guests. No loss of charging capability, easy to use, fits right, and doesn't look out of the ordinary. Works well without any compromise.
