These models are delightful to work with and look amazing. They are so well designed with easy to follow instructions, first class. I had to contact the manufacturer over a printed board issue. They were on the case immediately with excellent communications and fulfilling what they said they would do. I believe it's a great test of a supplier when you successfully work with their aftersales team. 5 stars well earned.

I bought this to do with my 3 teenage grandchildren. There are lots of details and parts that they could each make and add to the main library. It took about 3 days to complete the model and everyone had great fun building it. I wish there some more big kits to build.

I thoroughly enjoyed building this. The diagrams were clear and everything was really easy to pop out. I loved making all the little books. And arranging them. The lighting kit was easy to install and it looks fantastic on my book shelf.Two very small negatives for me - the printed outer was upside down. But as it is on the shelf between books and cannot be seen, it’s not that big of an issue.The second thing would be that I would like a little more creativity. Why couldn’t the telescope we more round - tube like - than flat? I would just have liked to made or built a few more items. I’ve made up another kit Sam’s study which was much more involved, cutting out leaves and colouring flowers. It doesn’t have to be that detailed but that’s what I like.Regardless- it was a great kit and I hope to do another soon.

I received the kit only yesterday but I’m already so exited about it. All wooden and paper parts and the manual are of high quality. All fits perfectly. And looks amazing and interesting. Can’t wait to see the final result

Quite impressed with the quality of this kit and was surprised to find glue, sanding board and tweezers included. Care has to be taken with removing some of the finer parts from the laser cut MDF sheets to avoid breakage. Construction is mainly by tab and slot and some joints can be tight requiring some sanding of the tabs for a good fit without using excessive force which could result in breakage. Some patience is required. The instruction manual is A4 size which initially looked easy to follow but in places I found it confusing due to small and low contrast images.

Loved the product. Although a piece of the wood had snapped when I was trying to get it out of the holders. And I’ve contacted the company multiple times and not had a response from them

Very well made and easy to assemble, looking forward to my next project.

This is not as good as the last MiniCity one I made. The fittings were very tight and needed to be filed down, or else the very thin pieces broke trying to fit into the correct places. Over all I am pleased with it, but I also found that because of the dark wood the instructions were difficult to make out the correct way round some of the placements went. Especially on the birdcage table. The wire of the lights were difficult to hide as there were so many into small places and nothing really good to stick them to. So more time and stickers were needed. Once completed the lights work very well and overall a pleasing book nook.
