Perfect for homeschooling. Daughter learned a lot of stuff as well as I lol.

My daughter just turned 6 and this book is perfect for her! I love how the book is split into weekly “plans”, although we do a weeks worth in a day. The text and questions and simple enough to run the several pages at once. This is a great workbook!

Science encompasses a lot content. I love how much this first grade edition builds on and includes knowledge from the kindergarten science book. There seems to be a lot of valuable critical thinking about the environment and senses. For several pages the lesson is about observations that a child would likely do but might not actually take time to think about why or how. This is a great way to make sure these things are learned about.

So it's to the point, and the grading system is simple. However, it's not a very hands-on book. It mostly asks to draw pictures and answer questions. So if you want more activities, I would buy a different workbook.

I home school and this is perfect

I think it has good information but the questions I think are a bit easy. My 4.5 yr old does this book with minimal assistance
