Epson Workforce DS-410 Desktop Sheetfed Business Scanner - 26PPM - USB

This compact little scanner is amazing. It scans A4 width maximum, but that’s all I needed. So much quicker and less fiddly than a flat bed scanner and so small it takes up no space at all. It scans quickly and faultlessly, the installation is a breeze and the software is easy to use. Makes a change to buy a device that exceeds expectations.

This is a well made and compact scanner, fits great in my laptop case. Works great wired or wireless, internal battery lasts well for wireless scanning, good buy. I was so happy with it after I told my sister, she purchased one.

About Easy to use, you still need a PC, but the quality of photos is quite ok for the price. I had non digital photos which I made them now digital with this device and is just fine

Great little scanner can be used wirelessly or via USB. Don't let the size fool you. This scanner is really efficient, quick at processing each page and a decent quality. Occasionally the page needs a little nudge but generally the page feeds through well. Really pleased with this purchase.

For a one page private scanner that is portable and small, this is excellent. The software, however, could be way better, but it does the trick.

It’s really not a very good product you can only feed through one piece of paper at a time and also it was totally incompatible with my up-to-date Mac computer the seller however did send me a new driver when I raised the issue which was helpful but did not work.

I purchased this item to scan receipts and invoices as I work as a bookkeeper. This product is great. Connects straight to your computer via USB and scans quickly and the images are really clear

Whilst this does work as a wireless portable document scanner, and is really small and compact, I have major issues with its paper handling (probably caused by the small size) that unfortunately made it extremely frustrating to use. Firstly, its portable size means it doesnt have a sheet alignment guide, so you have to carefully align it to prevent any document skew. This itself is not in itself a massive issue, and can be lived with, however, the moment it detects anything in the slot, it tries almost immediately triesto grab and pull it a bit, and if you have not inserted it exactly right, it will skew. Now whilst you could adjust AFTER it grabs, in that case it may not feed correctly, and has to be lightly pushed, sometimes skewing unintentionally. On certain sizes of paper, only one roller on one side grabes the paper, which together with the lack of guides, and on some smooth/shiney/slippery paper can cause a skew whilst scanning, ruinign the scan. I also notice it often miss the top of a scan, due to the handling issues. Since my aim was to reduce paper, and get good quality dogital scans of documents/statements/invoices, it ended up being a huge frustration, despite its really portable size I suppose for some people who really need a portable scanner to scan documents for evidence reasons on the move, this scanner probably works well, and is definately a step up from using a phone camera.

Awful experience with this EPSON Scanner. I bought this scanner and the installation in Windows 10 went smooth. My surprise is that the produced scan is always white, after testing with several documents. Defective product out of the box! Awful quality control of EPSON

Ich bin selbständig, arbeite am Mac und muss für die Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung regelmäßig Belege digitalisieren, zuordnen und hochladen und das ist die mir am meisten verhasste Aufgabe. Der einzige Fehler war, diesen Scanner nicht früher gekauft zu haben. Einrichtung war in 5 Minuten geschehen und schon ging's mit dem Scannen los. Und wofür ich sonst Ewigkeiten (mit Handy-Belege-App) und Übertragung auf den Computer gebraucht habe, war in Minuten erledigt. Alles lesbar, erkennbar auf Format zugeschnitten und platzspeichernd als PDF gespeichert. Einfach super. Kassenbons oder DIN A4-Briefe, schwarz-weiß oder farbig. Fotos, Bilder o. sonstiges gehen damit bestimmt auch, aber dafür gibt es andere Scanner, die dafür besser geeignet sind. Hier ist ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gegeben und klare Kaufempfehlung. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, update diese Rezension aber, sollte der Scanner schnell kaputt gehen. Kann ich mir aber schwer vorstellen, da solide verarbeitet und kein überflüssiger Schnickschnack dran ist. Nur eine Taste, um den Scanvorgang zu starten – fertig.
