Bright Light & Good Spread
These are small but very bright.Absolutely brilliant.....However; the downside is that among the modes there is a 'rapid flash' that would induce a fit in the most resilient Bat!UPDATE:Have used a few times now & upped to four stars. These offer a very good light with 3 levels of brightness and good spread.I use 2 of these either side off-centre in a 3x3mtr gazebo on the middle brightness setting, but could easily use just one in the centre... If you were to use them for camping they would be perfect.I use rechargeable batteries (1100 mAh) which last about 3 hours on full or about 5 hours on the middle light setting before a fresh set are required. These are pretty lightweight so can be hung from less robust features without pulling them down. The nifty little spring-gate arrangement makes fitting/hanging it a doddle. You can push it over a cord or rod much like a carabiner would work. There is also a magnet in the base which offers an alternative means of fixing it in position if you have something steel (or other ferromagnetic material) to stick it on..... a shame about the insane hyper epileptic flash mode which you have to go through in order to turn it off! otherwise five stars. So; should you buy it?Yes, definitely.

Brilliant - but don't buy it if you have photosensitive epilepsy!
This is exactly what I needed.I was looking for a compact, lightweight light to hang in my one-man tent when solo camping in the middle of nowhere. This fits the bill. It's bright. Thanks to the LEDs you get a lot of light out of something very small. I've never needed to use it on its brightest setting in my little tent so I'm sure it would be up to lighting a bigger tent with no trouble at all. It's light. Weight is a major consideration when you're hiking and this is great for keeping that weight low. It also doesn't cause my tent inner to sag when I hang it as it's so light. It's easy to hang. The design of the handle is great. Unlike a lantern with a simple hook, this one isn't going anywhere once you've attached it. Yet even though it stays firmly in place, it is quick and easy to release and remove. The handle is also a good size for slipping across your hand if you need to take a quick walk outside your tent in the middle of the night. It could save your life. There's an SOS function on this lantern, which is something I find a comfort even though I hope I never need to use it. Technically, you could be unconscious in your tent having left this set to flash an SOS and rescue could arrive. Hopefully not something you will ever have to worry about but it's nice to know it's an option.Varying light levels. I like the fact that I can change the brightness of the light. In my little tent, I don't need it full power to have enough light for anything, yet I know I have that extra brightness if I need to check something out in the night. Being able to lower the power also increases the battery life, which is always a bonus.Good battery life. I've used this a fair bit and I'm still on my first set of batteries. Thankfully, LEDs are very energy efficient so you can rely on this to last a long time. For me, that's a real bonus as it means I don't have to worry about carrying a bunch of spare batteries around with me when I go for a multi-day hike.I do have one criticism - what's with the flashing? I can understand the SOS function (see above) but the insane rapid flashing seems a little pointless and just an effective method of provoking seizures in anyone with epilepsy who happens to be in sight of your crazy light! And you can't avoid the stupid mode because you have to cycle through them all in order to turn it off. It becomes an exercise in how quickly you can press the button to get past epilepsy mode. If someone can come up with a situation in which you would want a rapidly flashing light (particularly when you have the SOS function to attract attention) then I'd love to hear it!

Flashing light modes nice but no more than a gimmick really
Very small in size powerful light but not big enough to illuminate a decent sized tent. Flashing light modes nice but no more than a gimmick really.

Great little light!
Great little light for the price. Very bright and the inbuilt caribiner has quite a large opening so can be used on anything up to about an inch in diameter. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because you have to cycle through light modes to switch it off, which include 2 annoying pulse modes.

perfect, and super-bright!
these lights are fantastic! they are incredibly bright; bright enough to light an entire room when hung from the light fixture! the batteries also last a long time for how bright they are - we had ours on every night for a week when camping and they dont seem to have dimmed at all. the carabiner is SLIGHTLY flimsy, or more to the point, the catch can be prone to missing the plastic arch every now and then. that being said, the carabiner is massively useful and the unit is a great sixe for doubling as a torch when trying to find your way across an unlit field at 2am - superb.

Poor Build Quality
Broke the very first time I used it! The clip broke off so I couldn't actually hang it to use as a light. Avoid as it should be much better for the price! It's bright but quite annoying to cycle through the awful flashing settings (far too intense).

Nice and bright for something so small
A cracking little light this one. Bought it for my daughter to take camping, oart of her DoE. Work out well as is very compact and light, so packs away in a rucksack very well. What did surprise me was the luminous quality of the light. It is very bright for something so small ( easily fits in my hand). Itis bright enough to light up a large tent and can be used instead of a tourch. More then happy to recomend this product

A great little light for my tent
A great little light for my tent, the three brightness levels are great and the strobe function will come in handy the next time I wish to disorientate a group of people while I attack their fortified position or wish to hold an illegal rave in my tent.My only criticism is that the strobe and flashing functions are last in the sequence so when I’m ready to go to sleep the light will go from dim to strobe and then flashing, this will probably wake me up somewhat.A great product, highly recommend.
