Forte Lubricants Car Van 4x4 Petrol & Diesel Engine Oil Top End Treatment 400ml

I wondered if this would actually have any effect, but was pleasantly surprised. Hydraulic lifter tick was annoying, but after popping a bottle of this in, it was greatly reduced. Would highly recommend.

My vw t4 had a noisy tappet and was running a little lumpy. A bottle of what I thought was snake made the top end quieter and it pulls a lot better now

Put it in my ford ranger 2011 didn't do anything for me but resolved issue with proper tension on belts

Great product recommended by a friend. I had a sticking tappet in my rover k series, put the product in and gave it a quick run for a few min to flush it around, next day ran it on idle for 40min and it's quiet as a mouse. I had previously dismantled the top end and serviced all of the hydraulic tappets, this would have been easier!

This product was a waste of money it did not reduce the top end noise at all.

Had issues with PSA engine tappets. 2 oils changes, a wynns lifter treatment and forte engine flush done but tappets still clattering at cold start ups until the engine was hot. Put this top end treatment in with the new oil, drove for an hour and for the last 5 days not heard any tappets sticking making any noises. So far so good. This product has done what it says on the label. The wynns didn't do anything. Pay the extra 10 pounds and try this before you strip your engine to inspect the tappets.

Made not a jot of difference. Best take your car to a mechanic.
