Bought all of my SA Cichlids in rough shape in the 1-2 inch size from my LFS. 3 months later everyone is healthy, colored up, and 4-4.5 inches. They eat all of they're 3 meals a day and stay at the front of the tank. Better bang for the buck than other manufacturers, just as good or better than. My fish will be eating this for the next 8 to 12 years

Really, you are going to ask me about the flavor as part of the review? I have no idea what it taste like. My fish think it is pretty good. They splash and zig zag all over when I throw it in. If you want to know what it taste like, ask your fish.

Best food
We have been buying this food for our afrucan chilid peacocks and haps for years(13+). They love it and it brings their colors out too.

Seller doing false advertising with picture of bucket!!
The food is always good. My cichlids love the food and do very well on it.The food this time was shipped in a bag instead of bucket???? Really????

My cichlids love it!
They are the small, 1mm pellets. They do float so I soak them for a minute in separate cup before dumping that into my tank.

Resealable bag just won't cut it
Ordered a bucket of fish food. Got a bag. I usually freeze the excess until I need it and the bag did not look like it would safely reseal. So, I poured it into the last bucket I bought. It did not coke close to filling it, but I suspect its a more dense formula now. I do object to ordering a resealable bucket and being given a plastic bag. I should get what was pictured in the ad. The food itself was fresh, with was better than the last time I bought it. I am disappointed, NLS used to be guaranteed high quality.
