Drilling and countersinking in one sweep
I have accidentally pulled out from the bathroom drywall a towel hanger improperly installed by the previous house owner, which accident costed me three broken ribs and two gaping holes in the drywall. The ribs have fused on their own, but the drywall I had to fix myself. Now, fixing drywall is a nasty job and I am not a trained and experienced contractor, so I opted instead for covering the holes with a white PVC board. Consequently, I had to predrill the board mounting holes through the 3/4 in white PVC board + 0.5 in drywall sandwich and into wood posts behind the drywall.I have ordered on Amazon a wall post detector, #10 2 1/2 in flat head Philips zinc plated wood screws, the pre-drill bit, a sturdy towel hanger plus some sticky white vinyl dots for masking the screw head openings. The above combination of tools and material worked out very well. In particular, the counter-sinking part of the bit proved very useful so as to sink the screw heads below the board face level. I needed to apply some serious torque to make the last few turns of the screws into the wood, but I did not mind, for at least I knew that the resulting joint came about structurally sound. Then I have covered the holes in the board with the sticky vinyl dots and finally, I affixed the hanger to the board using the screws provided by the manufacturer. The entire job took me perhaps 2 hours including the head scratching. Two thumbs up.

Good Tool but not US made
Bought these to replace well used popular brand from the big home stores. The name is a little deceiving in that they are not US made, but they appear to be good quality; sharp and work well. Basically a good value for the consumer or pro alike as you get two more sizes than the black and yellow brand for less money.

Countersink drill bits
This product is great. I had looked all over for this very item. It worked perfectly to drill and sink new holes for bolts. I was able to replace broken worn boards in a bench I wanted to save. The variety of sizes was an added bonus.

Nice tool
Ive been woodworking for 50 years and I have several old sets of these around the shop but they have all gotten dull or I have had tos replace the bits several times, often leaving the broken one in the tool.I picked up a three pack of these in my most common sizes and worked the heck out of one on a bunch of garden projects last week. The bits worked like a charm and the countersink was just right for the screws. Made the jobs look more professional. I can't speak to the durability or longevity but my initial use and review looks good. It was worth the (small) cost.

best countersink drill so far.
the only problem with them is if you drop your drill on the floor and hit the drillbit first it will break so long as you don't drop the drill you will continue to enjoy the workflow with it.the tapered shape of the drill somehow make it work much better than normal straight drill bitsa must buy product 5+

Deceptive quality, corners cut in design, poor after-sales support
I really wanted to like these. They gave a nice first impression, feeling tightly manufactured, of good quality. However, this only went skin deep. I have three primary issues with them, as mentioned in the title.1) Most importantly, they do not last. They are not strong, with a fundamental flaw in their design. Previous countersink bits I've used, designed for impact drivers that use a hex bit, use a single, seamless piece of metal from the base of the assembly up to where it connects to the drill bit itself. However, if you have these (and this can be seen in other reviewers' photos), look near the base for a small silver pin pushed through the bit itself that is flush with the bit's walls. These countersink bits are actually two separate pieces of metal - one is a cylinder of metal inserted into the hex shaft (and held in place with the small silver pin mentioned above), and the second is an outer hex-shaped segment. So, in other words, the bit's success rests only on the strength of the small, silver, metal pin that holds the cylindrical bit inserted into the outer hex shaft in place. After about 50 uses of the 9/64" bit, this portion broke. The interior cylindrical shaft separated from the outer part, and I could see broken metal down inside of the hex shaft. The cylindrical shaft was actually the portion that broke, suggesting that the quality of the steel used is suspect. This is a very unfortunate design choice and undermines the longevity and quality of these bits.2) Another point on manufacturing quality, the four countersink blades themselves are much thinner, 1/2 or less, of the size of a competing brand of countersinks. Because of the larger gaps between the countersink blades, a significant amount of wood packs itself in the gaps between the blades. This makes the countersinking action less efficient, and I had to constantly clear small chunks of wood out of the blade region.3) Speaking to after-sales support, there isn't any that I can see. After the 30-day window that Amazon offers, the company itself seems to provide no support at all. I cannot initiate any kind of return through Amazon. I can't find a way to contact the manufacturer / seller to report my concerns, seek a refund, or other. I never appreciate a purchasing experience that lacks this support. It feels like the company only cares about the sales and doesn't care that those who purchase from them have a quality experience and achieve satisfaction. All in all, I am quite disappointed in this product. I hope the manufacturer will take this concerns to heart and improve their product. They also would do well to improve their customer support process.

3 bits broke within a week... garbage!
Not sure what "maximum torque" is supposed to mean. 3/4 of the bits included, are now busted
