My kids had a blast with this all summer. It's hot here and it's hard to get the young ones to want to go outside and play. But if there's water involved, they're all in. So it's a lot of fun. I like that the battery is removable to charge because frankly, anywhere I would charge this I would not to worry about fitting a large red water gun. It can be a little difficult to fill with water but with a little practice you'll get it.

I purchased this for my son who is 11, and this was the most fun he had this summer. He and the neighbors were at each other almost every day, and this water gun was more than up to the task. The battery is large (it needs to be removed to charge, but it lasts a LONG time and is in a waterproof compartment), and we've had no leaks or issues with it functioning improperly.It will shoot in a pretty straight line for about 10-15 feet, so it's got good power. My son likes to use the blasts (the reservoir lasts longer), and he likes that he can fill it quickly and easily. Overall, this was a great buy - he's seen the ones on TV, and this was cheaper and works really well.

I picked this for my son who loves water guns. Some kids at the pool had some automatic guns that he was enamored with. I knew he would love it if I got this for his birthday. I was correct. He loves this gun and is running around the house with it as I type this. While it is a cool gun and takes a different approach to a toy that has been around decades it still needs some work.First the Pros:- Its sturdy and has some good weight to it. It doesn't feel flimsy and cheap.- I like the electronic refill.- I like that it comes with a charger for the battery.- So far my son likes the continuous shooting ability and the distance the water travels.- The pump action works well if the battery is out.- You can open the top and refill manuallyNow for the Cons:- When auto filling the manual hatch at the top does not have a good seal. If you don't hold it tightly a tiny stream of water shoots out the top as the pressure is building to suck up the water. That hatch needs a better seal.- Once the battery is in the gun, unless I'm missing something, is not easy to get out. It would be nice if you could push the battery and a spring would push it out so you could grab it. That is not the case. I had to use a pair of pliers on a tiny lip. I don't see that lip lasting that long.You fix those two issues and it could be a great toy.

With a wide selection of water guns over the years there's some features i like and others not so much with these type of electrical water guns. While it has a proprietary battery connections ie not usb c or micro, it has a nice dedicated slot for it that where the battery slides in and out of, without having to mess around with arranging wires to make it fit. Filling up the gun is also straight forward as it fills from the top, and for extra capacity you can screw in a 2l bottle for longer run time. It shoots pretty far at the described distance of 20-25ft and in short little bursts so the water also lasts for a long time. While the description says it's Red mine came in looking Pink, which is not an issue as my girls like it. The hand pump is also nice to have as back up if the battery dies, but due to it's flush design with the body and hard pull. It's difficult to pump it for a long time even for adult hands, it's worse for kids. But i got this for it's electrical abilities so in that regard it works is advertised.

Total piece of junk! Terrible quality. Would not recommend I actually went through two more of these getting them exchanged because the first two didn’t work trigger get stuck constantly won’t turn off and one of the other ones just wouldn’t recharge from the day I got it does another type of electric water gun on Amazon That I would fully recommend over this one they still work to this day. Sad.

The media could not be loaded. This water gun can be pumped by hand or will shoot automatically with just pulling the trigger. I ordered this after my grandson’s birthday party. For 2 years in a row, water guns have been the main attraction, so I wanted a couple for my house. It worked well.Then why the three stars? The battery charger is specific to this water gun. If you lose it you are out of luck. I much prefer a standard charging cable like a USB-C.The gun shoots a thin stream. If you go up against a kid with a super soaker and this is your only gun, you will lose. The stream of the super soaker is so much thicker that you will get soaked, while your opponent will simply get wet. It doesn’t hold enough water. The battery lasts for 45-60 minutes, and I would not let a kid under 9 remove the battery. The battery cover doesn’t always pop open the first time you push it in. When it does, you remove the battery to charge it.This gun would best be suited for games where the thin stream with fairly consistent streaming is a benefit, but the 45-minute battery life is not an issue.

I've seen ads on instagram for similar looking water guns. i think the ones I saw were a lot more expensive but a lot more powerful. This one feels made of relatively cheap plastic but it does shoot a small stream of water pretty far and quickly! The manual water spraying is a good backup to keep the fun going if the battery runs out but it definitely doesnt shoot as far, unless you have a really strong arm. Overall I had a lot of fun playing with this.
