Easy to put together. Yes, minor assembly required. You don't have to add the straps. I did just to try them, and I do like them. There is the option to remove them if you try them and do not like the straps. Regardless, perfect for me. Gives great resistance. I like having my own equipment. Never did before. Reasonably priced - variety of colors available. So far just as advertised. So glad I finally took the plunge. I run my belt strap thru the handle and makes transport so easy.

I use these for water aerobics and they work very well. The resistance is good and I can really feel it when I do water aerobics. They are made well, easy to add assemble, and very affordable. I see several folks using this same brand at my classes.

The handles are foamy and small in diameter so they are easier to grip. The straps allow free movement while keeping the dumbbells secure.Easy assembly.Best water aerobic dumbbells I’ve ever used.

What I love is that I use them for arm resistance in water and the strap doubles for foot strap as lower extremity resistance and balance workout. Good strong product.

These work great to add resistance for my exercises in the pool. I like that they have the strap on the handles. A must if you enjoy working out in the pool.

No problems putting them together, and they look nice and seem good. For now.. lets see how they hold up.

I first purchased a pair with more reviews and an amazon.com "recommendation," but I realized having straps near the handles would be so much more useful, so I returned those and got these. I'm glad I did. They are well made and give me a great workout — the six suggested exercises that are included plus lots of others I've discovered online or in practice. You think at first it's easy, but when you get to the 40th rep, you realize you're putting in the work. I'm no longer feeling guilty for spending so much time in the pool — hey, I'm building muscle!
