Loved the book! It had a lot of extra scenes in it that were not in the videos, but I think those were scenes that were edited out of the shows for the sake of time. No matter, they filled out the story a little more and gave extra insight to the events. The book was very well written and the level of writing was good enough for both adults and High School students. I hope they keep the author for the novelization of season two also, which should be out next year after season two completes it's TV run.

I loved it, the quality is great and it was everything I was expecting.

Wednesday Addams is a great character.The netflix show produced a teenage version of her that was/is loved by a large audience.The story in this novelization is all the episodes of Wednesday Season 1 put together. It takes the audience into Wednesday's Mind. Explains why she acted the way she did in the various situations throughout the story.It also tells why the Nevermore Academy worked for Wednesday when no other school had. Wednesday didn't connect with the school and other kids because of socializing or because it was a place full of kids who were all as different from normal people as her family is. Wednesday bonded with Nevermore because unlike other places she'd been sent, the at Nevermore she had purpose.

The author did a good job with this. It was really fun to read and gave me a chuckle a few times

The books is aimed at the middle school set, but it is still a fun read. My son and aunt are fans of the series, and of the Addams Family films starring Christina Ricci (available on Amazon) as well as the original series from the 1960s, also available on Amazon. This book is pretty true to the series, which we like, but offers a bit more detail about the characters. Often we will buy a movie or TV series, then later buy the book that the series was based on, or a TV Tie-In book. This is a TV Tie-in book. While we wait for Season 2, it's nice to have Season 1 in a Novel form.

This was very enjoyable to read and very well done. Looking forward to more from this author. Will be interested to see if they do season two as well.
