Must Love Flowers: A Novel Review: You must read this book. - I am a big fan of Debbie McComber and I really feel this is one of her best books. I just couldn't lay this book down. If you have ever dealt with grief, you should read this book. I have shared this with some friends and they feel the same way. If you are a book reader, you will truly enjoy it. Review: Wonderful light romance - I normally do not go for romances, but the title of the story and the story itself just fascinated me. And yes, it was a romance, but very tastefully done. I will have to read more books by Debbie Macomber.

A lot of truth about grief
Although I am at the oposite end of the grieving process as a newly widowed, I did so relate to how Joan was (mis)handling her grief. I’ve found myself self-isolating and turning inward, wallowing in my loss. My only negative about the book is that three main character’s lives are neatly tied by a bow in the end. It’s unrealistic and somewhat insulting.

Dissolving depression with friends and flowers...
If you've read many of Debbie Macomber books, you can predict how the plot is going to develop and how the book will end. BUT You also recognize that it will be a good read, with a great ending and along the way you will gain knowledge about everyday problems and ideas for resolving the issues. In this book you will gain an understanding of how different people react to family deaths, severe depression, alcoholism as well as how people can help to resolve their issues with grief counselling, group therapy and a little gardening. Warning--don't start the book until you have time to finish it within a short time period.

Issue with Book
I’ve read a lot of this author’s books, started this one, was enjoying but came across something stated and I just couldn’t get pass it. One of the characters tutors children and one came from ‘low income family’ leading to this is why child needed tutoring then little bit later on said child came from ‘single mother’. I realize this really doesn’t have much to do with the main story, but it stayed with me, I couldn’t get pass and eventually stopped reading. To the author-low income status or parent status has nothing to do with a child’s intellect and if it does, shame on society. This got me cause I’m considered low income and all of my kids are very intellectual and thriving adults today. Don’t make comments about something you actually haven’t seen or lived. Book lost my interest after this, we don’t all live a “Hallmark life” but still manage to raise kids to be intellectual, intelligent adults.

Another good one from Macomber
This was a really sweet story but of course well written & enjoyable to read. Especially good for anyone who has lost a loved one and needs encouragement.
