I bought this mic mainly for office calls and gaming on my iPad. Before this, my colleagues could barely hear me over the construction noise and traffic outside, since my place is near a main road. I wanted a good cardioid mic that could block out background sounds, and this one does that really well. Got the mic and arm combo for under 5k during a sale, and I was honestly surprised by how much background noise it removed. My voice came through clearly, and all the annoying noises were gone. The only issue is that I have to keep the mic pretty close to my mouth. If I move it away, the volume drops a lot and the quality sounds worse than my phone mic. Since it’s a top-address mic, it always needs to be near my face. That’s fine for gaming, but looks odd during office calls. Maybe a better arm or some gain tweaking can fix it, but turning up the gain adds a bit of white noise, especially when recording through the iPad. Other than that, it works great with OBS, Meet, and Teams. If you don’t mind keeping the mic close, it’s one of the best options in this price range. Perfect and value for money for Beginners. Type C to USB 3.0 cable was not good because it became losed after some time. Sound Quality and Noise Cancellation is also Perfect. It's Looks and Size is also Perfect. Its compatible with my Laptop.

For its price range, the PD200X offers excellent audio quality, reliable build, and dual connectivity. A strong choice for creators seeking professional sound without spending too much.

The mic is good but need to align the settings otherwise it will bring heavy background noise. Definitely worthy consideration but the price could be much lesser as it compared to mic with stand the difference is very meagre.

I am using the PD200X microphone for my recording setup. While I have set up the microphone and installed the accompanying software, I am facing a significant issue: Problem: Whenever I speak, the microphone captures a lot of background noise along with my voice. This happens despite adjusting the noise cancellation settings in your software. Steps Already Taken: 1. Adjusted gain levels. 2. Enabled maximum noise cancellation (up to 40) in your software. 3. Ensured proper positioning of the microphone (close to my mouth, angled correctly). Result: Even after these adjustments, my voice recordings still include unwanted background noise, making the audio unclear. I already mail 2 times but i can't get any response

Mic is good. Noise cancellation is not very good but it's still okay and manageable. Post processing is needed. . Maono support is very helpful. I has problem with Shock mount. I wrote to support team. They agreed immediately to support and resolved issue. Thank you maono support team.
