CLC Custom Leathercraft 1535 Tote Bag with Top Plastic Tray, 18 in., 37 Pocket

Ok everyone, I'm going to buy it just because you guys said so. Review forthcoming. For the record, it isn't under 30 dollars anymore...Edited to add:Ok Yall! Bag came today and it's everything everyone said and more. I don't know how you wear one of these out, but I never will. Lots of pockets, rubber bottom with feet that enable the bag to clear the ground by 3/4" and a shoulder strap that is nice and long and well-padded against the load.Edited to add again:Ok, so I've been using the bag for a month or two now. It DOES carry a lot. That said, I hate the bag now, having used it for awhile. Long story short, the bag insists on attempting to fold back into the original shape it was shipped in which is a flat profile. Hard to explain except to say that when the bag is unzipped, it isn't really open. Instead of getting what I want from the inside, I have to use two hands keeping it open while I look around inside and then around moving things around at the bottom to find my tools which have usually fallen out of their pockets. It has spring-wire reinforcement built into it that wants to keep the bag spring-loaded to the folded position. It's a real pain. The inside pockets for long tools, like pliers and snips are too short and wide, allowing tools stored inside the bag to wind up on the bottom of the bag instead of standing up so you can just grab them. The same situation exists for the pockets on the outside. Tools can fall off the bag while carrying with the shoulder strap. The pockets on the outside aren't tight and deep, they're wide and shallow and loose-fitting. And getting worse every day.The bag is tough and durable which is not good on this particular bag because at least if it was worn out, I could throw it out in good conscience. I hate it more and more every day I carry it out the door. The loose, ineffective pockets for tools coupled with the fact that this bag is never open and upright makes me wonder if the manufacturer ever focus-grouped this bag with real working guys before they sold it. The bag is handsome, big enough, but completely incompetent. If it was my helper at work, I'd fire the guy in a second.

I LOVE this bag. I have been using it for 9 months now and have to carry it every day. This bag is a dream and has everything you might need in a tool bag. It's BIG and holds all the large tools and items that other bags cannot hold. It does get heavy when loaded, but has a strong and comfortably padded shoulder strap to help out.I have jabbed it, snagged it, dropped it, punctured it and even dragged it across a parking garage. It still looks brand new and has no damage.I can't give this bag enough praise! Buy it and you'll be very glad you did.UPDATE: It is now three years later (mid-March 2010). I am STILL using this bag and it STILL looks brand new! You can't hurt this thing!UPDATE 7-22-2011: It has now been exactly 4 years that I have been dragging this bag around. IT IS STILL GOING! No tears and no snags. Unbelievable!UPDATE 8-24-12: Yep... still going FIVE YEARS LATER! I have to say this is one of the longest lasting purchases ever. It is STILL in excellent condition and I STILL use and carry it every day. I think I will kick the bucket long before this bag. I guess we'll find out in about a year! The little plastic tray finally broke when I stepped on it about 9 months ago, but a little packing tape on the top fixed that. I seriously have never seen anything like this bag. It just keeps going!UPDATE 5-18-13: Wow, it is STILL in use and STILL holding up fine. It really does not even show its age yet. As this is becoming an annual tradition, I suspect I will be reporting that this bag will still be in use in 2014. Amazing.

Tough bag with lots of pockets and a good shoulder strap. I tote it around on and off throughout the day and would have liked if it had an attached Velcro wrap around for the carry handles to keep them together when you're on the move. The plastic small parts bin is nice but it makes the bag a bit lopsided. The bag was actually a bit larger than I anticipated. Overall a very rugged bag at a decent price.

I was amazing after buying this bag that no one had reviewed it yet. Its an awesome bag. I use it for my electrical tools and supplies when going somewhere.Pros: Sturdy Construction - I feel like I could drop it out of a plane and it would still function properly. Comes with a carabiner - Not a huge deal but free perks are always nice. TONS of pockets - The outer pockets are not only numerous but also secure. I've yet to have something fall out of one when traveling. Comes with a plastic container for carrying screws, fuses, etc. - I don't actually use this with the bag (took up too much room) but its nice to have on the work bench.Cons: The strap could be slightly wider for weight distribution reasons. This is the closest thing to a con I could find though.I'd highly recommend this bag to anyone who needs a place to put their tools when on the move. This is a steal for less than $30.

I've only had the tool bag 4-5 days so far, so I cannot attest to its durability but it does seem well designed and assembled. I really enjoy the multiple pockets inside and out. It accommodates my hand tools perfectly and does not tip over; plastic storage case built in is very convenient for small items but I can image how when overloaded could make the bag feel off balanced. Sewn handles on top seem very strong, bag itself weighs approximately 4lbs. I'd highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a medium sized tool bag.

Definitely worth it. First thing I noticed was the strong sturdy material. I work in a rough environment where tool bags can be stepped on pushed over dropped tossed aside and In and Out constantly. I see no problem with rips or holes with this material. Also there are many pockets and a good amount of space on the inside of the bag. The plastic tray is very convenient for Hardware or other small necessities. Very happy with this product. To be honest I can't really find a negative about this item it's just an all-around great product.

Abbiamo comprato questa borsa per gli attrezzi come regalo di Natale - dai commenti letti, temevo fosse un borsone ingombrante, invece dal mio punto di vista, ha una misura media; se fosse stata più piccola, non avrebbe potuto contenere nemmeno un piccolo trapano! Ha molte tasche e di varie misure. È fatta con un bel tessuto impermeabile piacevole al tatto, è curata e ben rifinita esteticamente, ha il fondo rinforzato e un po' gommato, ed anche una scatola trasparente (quella che si intravvede nella foto) per contenere le minuterie. In definitiva è un articolo che consiglio.
