Worked like a charm
A little goes a long way for sure.

It’s not as easy to find the leak as they say
The color is bright and vibrant however that’s not what you need. Darker may be better. The formula needs to be more like ink and then it will work well. This is a fair product. Not very easy to use.

Not as impressed as I'd hoped.
I've had my hot tub since the spring of 2022, so for 2.5 years or so, it drained and refilled to clean several times, but this time was just before Christmas, and it sat empty for a few weeks. When I filled it back up, I was rather surprised to see the water level drop inches a day. I figured it might leak a bit, but hoped seals would swell back up... they didn't. The manufacturer was useless; they wanted me to buy all new jet housings (nearly 150 of them) as they don't sell the seals separately. Silicone it is! But, which do I do? I doubted all were leaking, but only a couple were visible, so I figured I'd try UV dye (I used to be a mechanic; the stuff is amazing for that mysterious oil leak). Unfortunately, this didn't work as well as I'd hoped. It seems like you blow through it FAST, but I doubt there's enough in the bottle to follow directions on all the jets and light fixtures. I tried it on a couple I knew were leaking; it didn't seem to do much, though. A couple of the LED fittings lit up a bit when I hit them with a UV light, but most of the other fittings I used nearly half the bottle on did much. NOWHERE near as bright or green as the pictures show, just faint, and the fact that the housings are mildly UV reactive (blueish) doesn't help much. I'm going to try a dump it in and run the filter product instead, hopefully that works enough that I don't miss any, if not, I guess I'll just spend the weekend resealing every single fitting.

Didn't work for us.
I really tried, I really did! Total waste of money in my eyes.

Did not work for me.
I followed the instructions and the stuff did not work at all. It colored the water but it would not go to find my leak. I wouldn't recommend it.

Didn’t help find the leak
We used this to attempt finding a leak around our fiberglass pool light. It does glow and is fun to watch but What we ended up with was a nasty ring of bright yellow color at the water line . In the end we call a leak detection company to find the problem . Did not work for us
