Best lawn patching product
This grass mix was very easy to use. It was fluffy and it stayed moist for awhile to help the seeds germinate. I’d suggest using some straw because the birds really went after my lawn patches! It overall did a good job of covering up the bare spots in my lawn. I would say it took about a week for the new grasses to sprout. I felt the germination rate was pretty high. I think this product is a good value for the money because of how easy and quickly it did its job.

Excellent ground cover clover
Spread easily. I just tossed it in bald areas, and the clover has taken off, covering bald areas in the grass and greening up the front and back yards

A lot of it is the coating that you are paying for. Not 100% seeds

ABSOLUTE CRAP
dont wate your money. i got all kinds of random crap growing in my garden because of this trick bag. its all grass and buckwheat. if there are any clover seeds at all, they will be smothered out by the buckwheat. im actually furious, idk how you can sell people bags of crap like this. theres so much buckwheat in here, ended up having to rip up the entire area that i treated, so even if there was a single clover seed, i never got to see it grow. skip this headache, and buy something that will work. i ended up spending a bit of extra money on another well known brand (starts with sco* and rhymes with potts*) and it worked so good i bought 5 more bags.... DO NOT BUY THIS PENNINGTON CRAP. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

My seeds have failed to germinate. Maybe I needed to compliment seeds either another material like dirt

Seeds well. Have bought a few bags to see more of the area.

All grass, no clover after 3 months
I wanted to create a bee friendly clover ground cover at our apartment and this was the closest match I found. However, after waiting enough time to confirm clover didn’t germinate slower than the grass, I have yet to see any clover, per the picture. If you want lovely lush grass, this is great. If you are trying to create a nature corridor for pollinators in an urban area, look elsewhere.
