Helped saved myself from repairing a whole set of vinyl. Gets the job done!
These siding fasteners worked perfectly for my home repair project! They’re sturdy, easy to use, and hold the panels securely in place. I was able to fix some loose siding in no time, and everything feels solid and looks great. The quality is excellent, and they seem built to last through all kinds of weather. Definitely a great value for the price—highly recommend for anyone needing reliable siding fasteners for quick fixes or full installs!

It works when properly installed.
It has been about 6 months since I used this product and the vinyl is sill hanging tough. Installation fair but once properly installed they work.

Cheaply made, but passed the wind test.
Used these to fasten down loose siding. I get heavy winds in the foothills here. stayed put through one storm and I figure this is a good time for a review. They are cheaply made, but they do work and save time. A set of tin snips and a sheet of tin could make a whole bunch. If I was retired, I'd make my own. They did save me time. I chose to clip the bottom in first and then slide the remainder behind the siding. Not perfect, but seems to hold fine.

Didn't Work
Easy to follow instructions, but didn't work for me. Siding would not snap into the fasteners. Had to return.

Work, but expensive for what they are
I am very mixed on this product. This highlights where patents can be used for overpricing. The clips are basically a length of bent 1” wide aluminum strips. They install easily and in many cases provide a little extra something for a siding piece to grab onto. You install them every 7”. If you have a single stubborn flap, then the fix is worth it (assuming it works for your gap). If you have to fix more (I have a west exposure heat issue that causes several panels to have issues), these become very expensive quickly. For what they are, the bulk packs should cost quite a bit less. Once the patent expires, these will go for significantly less.

Quality product Made in USA!
I just installed them today but so far they appear to hold up well against strong wind. I really like that they are Made in USA so I don’t mind spending extra for them.

Worked as advertised BUT you also need a vinyl siding removal tool to complete the job.
These clips preformed as advertised. The package came with step by step simple instructions with color pictures. The only issue I encountered was snapping the locking edge of the siding back over the clips (Step #8 in the instruction booklet). Fortunately, I also purchased a vinyl siding removal tool which allowed me to hook onto the locking edge and pull it downward to lock over the clips. Without the removal tool the job could have been a failure.

Solved my flapping siding problems.
I bought my house new 29 years ago, and my siding still looks pretty good. The last few years I have had a problem with a couple of pieces of siding that kept coming loose. Every winter, on extremely windy days these pieces would come loose and start flapping in the wind. I would go out and snap them back together only to have them come loose the following winter. I found these clips online and was a little reluctant to purchase. A few months later I saw amazon was carrying them, so I thought I would give them a try. If you follow the directions and take your time they work perfectly. These clips are very thin and bend easily. Do not try to smack the siding in place, you will just destroy the clips. Go to a local home improvement store and buy a siding tool, pull the siding down with the tool and gently guide it over each clip. The result will be exactly what you want.
