Works like a charm
**Review: Nohovu Trench Shovel for Digging, 4-Inch Trench**The Nohovu Trench Shovel is a solid tool for trench digging. Its 4-inch blade makes it ideal for creating narrow, deep trenches, perfect for laying pipes, cables, or garden projects. The shovel is well-balanced, with a sturdy handle that provides good grip and leverage, making it easier to work with tough soil. It's durable and can handle heavy-duty tasks without bending or dulling quickly. If you need a specialized tool for trenching, this shovel is a reliable choice!

Good qualities
I like this shovel for several reasons. It has a fiberglass handle and strong shovel blade. I like the comfortable handle tip. The fiberglass appears to have a very good paint job on the shovel shaft, which will help protect from UV exposure that tends to degrade fiberglass handles in a few years causing them to crack and split. The good coat of paint solves that problem. This has a sturdy ring to secure the shaft to the blade and durable rivets. The handle shaft is strong and can withstand some serious torquing. These excellent qualities are tarnished by a few things that downgrade this shovel. The paint job on the shovel blade although being thick, had several huge runs that will cause the paint to quickly peel off. The welding fastening the blade to the shank was a little on the crude side. There is a weep hole in the back of the shank that I will fill in so water does not get inside the shank to allow rust inside. With discrepancies aside, this shovel does have good value and much stronger than a shovel I previously purchased from a big box hardware store that my handle split and failed. I did take a star away for craftsmanship flaws.

Works well
I needed to dog some trenches for pipes and electric wires and this shovel does the job well.

Handle a little too angled
I would like this shovel better if the handle was Ert instead of angled. You have to push the handle away from you for the shovel to go straight straight in the ground.

Little giant.
Great replacement for my neighbor abused wood handled trencher shovel fondly named pinky because of it's thirty year old pink colored head. It became terminal while over levered on. : ( I pried out a couple of large rocks you no damage to new shovel. Pinky his now retired to wall art. : )

Perfect for Bed/Stand-Off Edging Install
Got this shovel to make relatively shallow but well-defined trenches in order to install 4" deep edging material between gravel beds and the yard. Worked great.

Not as solid as I expected
This shovel performed adequately on my first irrigation trenching job, but I am concerned if it will hold up over the next few years
