Great practice book. If you do want some extra practice for your child, this is great. There area different tasks and the answers are at the back for your reference. I have found it to be in line with the curriculum as well. I will be purchasing again

As you would expect form Collins, this maths workbook is top quality and aligns well to the UK curriculum taught in primary schools. The layout is clear and my son was able to follow this with minimal guidance, and enjoyed completing a few pages each week to help cement what he had been learning in class. Highly recommended.

I also like the progress tests and QR codes for extra listening practice. The answer section is handy too. It’s a solid resource for boosting maths skills, though it might benefit from a bit more variety in exercises.

This is a practice workbook for Year 3 Mental Maths. It follows the National Curriculum, so should be relevant for all primary school children at the appropriate age (approx 7 - 8 years). The book is well presented, and well laid out. The questions are clear. Where pictures are used, they are in colour. There is an index of subjects at the beginning and the answers to the questions at the end. There are 4 mixed progress tests as you go through the book. Finally, there are 8 audio tests available by pointing your phone at the QR codes at the top of the page. Throughout the book, you write your answers in the spaces provided, and an adult can mark them. At the bottom of each page is a 'had a go', 'getting there', and 'got it :-)' summary smiley - useful if you need to identify areas where you should go through a page a second time. I ordered all 5 of the Mental Maths series, and have been really impressed by all of them. Price is reasonable. Thoroughly recommended.
