Excellent compliment to hifi.
The sub is discreet, easy to set up and use and most important, provides all the low end that was missing from my hifi system, which wasn’t bad in the first place. It fills out the lower bass perfectly without being intrusive ( depending on how you set it). Much cheaper than some other subs and that befits the rest of my system .

Changed my HIFI
This year I felt my hifi system needed an upgrade. After disappearing down a rabbit hole of youtube reviews and trying to listen to speakers in shops in the current climate I was just confused. I have a seven year old pair of Dynaudio audience 42 bookshelf speakers (similar to the current Emit 10s) which are great but small and lacking in some bass depth. I didn't really want bigger speakers so it was looking like at least £1000 to make a significant improvement whilst keeping the compact and cool looking system.I decided to first try adding a subwoofer then upgrade the speakers in the future. This Q acoustics 3060s sub fits nicely out of sight and had good reviews so I went for it.Wow. Not only is the additional bass volume and depth amazing but the whole system sounds much better. I'm no audiophile or techno guy but (I think from what I've read) the bookshelf speaker's sound has definitely improved through the mid range by directing the lower frequencies to the sub. They seem freed up somehow.Whatever the reason, I now don't need a speaker upgrade. The system is brill and I saved myself a shed load. A bargain at £280.

not impressed
Too little power for low bass

Dubious at first but wow
Adding a subwoofer to my qacoustics media 4 was not something that I considered to be an option as I thought the onboard bass was already excellent. When I git into music production the m4 could caver all of the ranges perfectly. The thing I was afraid off was my bass or drums myths damage the onboard woofer. With the m4 being 219 and the woofer being 300 I grudgingly spent the money. Boy how was I wrong. The bass is beautiful and there is a crossover and level dial. There is a very thoughtful cable management system and at first you get vibration if you turn the level too high. One the speaker loosens up, it covers everything very surprisingly well. I can hear the bass drum beautifully and with full clarity as also bass guitar. The unit is so good that I would give 20 out if 10. Listening to classical music is a true rediscovery. I was dubious but am a true convert. The m4 seems to reroute the power that the onboard woofer to the 2 stereo speakers, The whole setup is the one of the most faithful music production rigs I have ever heard and beautiful. For gaming and films also, it is a joy. All of the sounds somehow seem more pronounced and intricate.

Excellent for size!
I ordered this sub based on the size and space I had available. The dispatch and delivery was excellent as described. This is not a big powerful sub so don't expect it to fill big rooms. If you need a small compact sub that's does go low and adds bass to small speakers this does the job.If you have a large space this may not be right for you.

Fantastic product.....
Bought this to complement my home theatre setup. I looked at the 3070i first but read a few negative reviews. It cost about £20 more than that one but that's negligible. Like my QA 2050i floorstanders, the cabling exits the cabinet underneath which is very neat. Bass is very precise and I found by setting the floorstanders to 'small' in the amp setup, the bass is more pronounced from the sub. I now have a full Q Acoustics home theatre. The sound, coupled through my Sony STR- DH820, is incredible and a testament to Q Acoustics 'quality at an affordable price' ethos.

Your sound system needs this!
I had a reasonably good set up, but bookshelf speakers can never produce the lower frequencies required with some types of music. For the money, this sub has added the range and depth from mid to sub bass that was missing. I have positioned mine horizontally using rubber isolation feet under my unit making it almost invisible. Music, TV and films now have the full sonic range. Definitely recommend this for small to medium sized rooms.
