I usually stock up during the cooler months, as they can get a little melty in the summer heat, especially during shipping. But stored properly, they hold up great. One of the biggest wins for me is that these bars don’t cause any excessive gas or bloating, which is a common issue with many high-protein snacks. And with such a wide flavor variety, it’s easy to avoid flavor fatigue. Honestly, they’re better than many of the more expensive protein bars I’ve tried — and that says a lot. The Barebells Salty Peanut bar is so delicious and unbelievably satisfying. Honestly, it tastes like a candy bar — but with 20g of protein. Yes, I wish it had a little less fat and carbs, but let’s be realistic: this level of flavor usually only comes in actual candy. For a protein bar, it’s exceptional. Every bite is rich, chewy, and perfectly balanced. I’ve tried many of their flavors, and I’ve never been disappointed. The quality is consistently high, and the texture and taste are always spot on. These bars are delicious. They do not have the protein taste to them. They taste more like a snickers bar. They are filling and satisfying. They are a bit pricey but better to buy on amazon than at gas stations. As a diabetic, I worry about sugar levels or what foods will cause my sugar level to rise. These bars do not cause any issues with my sugar level. They are very good chilled in the fridge for a few hours as well. They will melt easily in a warm car. Shipping is fantastic and puts a cool pack in a little cooler bag to keep them from melting.

I accidentally ordered these instead of my usual choice. I decided to take a bite, and let me tell you, they went straight into the trash. Yuck! Definitely not the seller's fault, but they were the worst tasting ones I've had so far!

I've tried and eaten a couple of dozen different protein bars. This one is actually pretty good. It's sort of similar to a Snickers. If a Snickers is 9.5 on a 10 scale, this peanutty, nougatty bar is a 7.5. Frankly it's better than nearly any other I have eaten.
