Insta360 X4 Standard Lens Guards

I dropped my Insta360 X4 camera and one of the lens guard got scratched a bit.This was a perfect replacement.

Really great, it's an expensive piece of equipment so keeping it safe from scratches and breakage is a must

I kep losing my lens guards so I bought 2 spare sets as a backup - these are essential to protect your 360x4 lenses - they do not fit the standard 360. good quality and a reasonable price.

The lenses arrived well packaged and fit the Insta360 perfectly. I’m pleased that the video quality remains just as sharp with the lenses installed—no noticeable difference at all.

They do the job but they do scratch quite easily so you’ll probably find yourself having to buy more of them.

When I purchased my Insta 360 X4 (an upgrade from a previous model) the seller warned me “Just make sure you buy lens protectors!”. I didn’t bother with this kind of thing on my X2 and the device was fine throughout its useful lifetime. However, on this occasion, partly due to the seller’s message and partly due to the eye-watering cost of the device, I decided to buy these ‘standard’ lens protectors. My first impressions were not that great as they seem large and bulbous and add quite a lot width to the device overall. They also can’t be used in the water which is my primary use-case for the device on holiday with the family. However, whenever I have finished with the device in the swimming pool and cleaned it and wiped it dry I have added the lens protectors on. This is quick and quite a simple process of twisting to lock them in place. I then store the device in the original soft neoprene zip cover. I’m writing this review on holiday as, just an hour ago, I went to get something from our hotel room safe, and accidentally knocked the camera (in its cover, with the protectors on) out of the safe. It fell about 5 feet onto a marble floor. When I picked it up I could tell there was something not right. I unzipped the cover and found that one of the lens protectors had shouldered the fall and had cracked and broken. I tested the device and all is fine. The real lens is 100% clear and fine also. So, this twenty pound investment, just saved me five hundred pounds! Phew! My advice? Don’t procrastinate, get these now and replace them when they save your device from a fall or scratch. It’s money well spent.
