The light unit on this unit is good and strong. It easily illuminates a workspace. The light is activated by an on/off switch on the back, where there is also a row of LEDs to indicate the state of charge.The mode switch - also on the back and indicated with a capital letter M - toggles between white, flashing white, red, flashing red, blue, flashing blue and then back to white.There are a pair of fold down hooks along the edge to enable you to hang the light on a cable or string, or from hooks.The real star of this unit is the magnets at each end. They are super powerful magnets and will grab onto any ferrous metal surface, iron, steel, etc, and the unit really does grab and hold.It’s do strong that it will actually hold onto a single steel screw in a wall or joist.Thats pretty amazing performance.It will hold to hinges, screws, white goods and so on.This grabbing ability coupled with the bright light makes this a really good piece of kit for working in dark spaces.Cellar, loft, in wall and floor cavities.My video shows me switching in on and off in my unlit tool store.It’s pretty tough plastic too so should take some serious knocking round.5 stars from me.

I've been after a nice bright light for working underneath vehicles for a while, this is perfect.It is a nice slim unit which has two adjustable magnetic feet on the bottom so you can stick it to the metal work, these are strong and I don't feel like it's going to fall and hit me in the head.There are also two plastic hooks on the bottom for hooking to pieces of bodywork if that works better.The light itself is really bright, the whole strip lights up in a bright white led and has various levels it can be set to, it's more than enough to get those dark places lit up.You can also cycle through and have flashing white, red and blue cycles.

Until they sort them out don’t buy them
