I bought there so I could have a single clock type for my 3 year old to have an idea of telling time.1. Is the clock easy to set? Yes, which is good because I had to do it constantly.2. Is it efficient with power? No, it takes 3 aaa batteries to hold the data. It still doesn’t display time or any other function and first time it was unpowered for an extended period of time (30-60 minutes), I had to set the time again.3. Do they look like the pictures, yes but only when connected to power for which they don’t provide this block as it is vital to its operation.4. Do I plan to return it? No, I’m lazy and don’t want to go mail it and I also don’t want it sent out to someone else.

Great little clock however a key missing is that it does not allow voice control. Other similar items will awake when on battery if you make a noise such as rapping on a table, I am returning this to get one with that feature, same price!

With batteries or with charging I cannot get the light to stay on which doesn't help me at work. It also is not rechargeable you need 3 AAA batteries or to keep t plugged in.

I ordered this from Amazon because of the economical price. It did not work from the time we got it and had to return for a refund, which Amazon provided very promptly. Maybe it was one bad clock but I do not have time to fool with defective products.

I ordered this alarm clock especially for vacations and camping trips. Since it will run off battery or USB cable, it will be easily used in our camper. The programming instructions are pretty easy to understand and I had the time and date set pretty quickly. When this clock is plugged into a USB brick, the display stays on all the time. When it is running on battery power, the display goes out in a few seconds. Pressing any button will bring the display back on. That’s one of the things I really like about it. I work night shift and on my nights off, I wake up at all hours of the night. I do this even on vacation. Just a habit from working nearly 20 years on night shift. I can put the clock right beside the bed and press one of the buttons to see if it is time to get up or not. There are also 4 different settings for the display brightness. I set the alarm to give it a test and it is pretty loud. Loud enough to wake my wife, and that’s saying something right there. The clock requires 3 AAA batteries to operate. Those are supplied by the purchaser. The clock is lightweight and small enough to go in any backpack or carry-on bag. All in all, I give this clock a 5 star for its ease of setup and operation.

You would think after buying the 3 AAA batteries required the clock would work but, that is just the backup. There no plug for the wall outlet so you need to run a cord to a USB Connection to work properly using twice as many wires than needed.
